I would give this hotel a 0 star if I could. We came up from NC to work on hunting land and didnt prepare to spend the night. Usually we bring our camper to avoid hotels like this one. Very outdated and poor condition. Not sure how this hotel received a 4 star most likely someone is being paid to leave reviews. The ceiling has been poorly painted with a roller to cover the mold or rust. Also on the walls too. The bathroom has outdated ceiling tiles that are falling down. We should of been skeptical when we seen the hiring sign and the caution tape around the front desk. PLEASE DONT STAY HERE. IM SURE ITS SUSPECT FOR BED BUGS 🐛 WE DID CK PILLOWS,SHEETS&BEDS. Should be against the law to charge $130!!! Find a Hilton. Seriously 😳

Very disappointed in this hotel in the Hampton chain. I guess you can't trust them to be any cleaner than cheaper places. It was very gross that we found blood on a pillow, hair in the bath, and a half used shampoo bottle. They were still cleaning rooms after 5 pm. Our room smelled so strongly like candy or possibly vanilla. That sounds ok but it was so powerful I was afraid we would get sick. We left the ac running while we went out to eat, but still smells. The tv is so small its ridiculous! The room has no usb slots and no plugs by the bed at all. Maybe one plug way over across the room. The ice machine on our floor isn't working...This is all just so unacceptable for a Hampton!

The room was clean. I didn't like the bed, too hard foe me. My husband loved it. The one thing we didn't like was there was no fan in the bathroom. So, once you took a shower, the mirror stayed all fogged up for a while.

Full transparency: I did not stay here. I booked a room for two nights through Priceline. I drove 6 hours and went to check into the hotel, only to be told my room was unavailable and they were putting me up at another hotel down the street. This hotel down the street was lower quality and did not have an indoor pool for my kids - which is why I picked Hampton Inn. The lady at the front desk was very nice and I know none of this was her fault... But if you, as a business, say a room is available to book - why cancel last minute and shuttle people to a worst hotel? Very disappointing. I would be very hesitant about booking with Hampton Inn again, especially if something like this can happen! Their parking lot had four cars in it too so I'm not sure why no other room was available. The worst hotel I was pushed off to also only had availability for one night, not two - so now I have to leave the area earlier than expected. Kids are disappointed.
