A great quiet place in the holler. Good hook ups and friendly atmosphere

After deciding not to stay where we had planned (campground will go unmentioned), because, in our opinion, the roads leading to it were narrow and dangerous, and the place looked really bad it was late in the day and we were perplexed at finding a campsite so late in the day but then we found Ted at Lazy K. He told us to come on in and even helped us via phone to get there! We had full hookups and the place was really nice! Thank you Ted!

The property here is beautiful and there is abundant wildlife. The owner Ted was very welcoming and came to make sure we got in okay and gave great directions when we arrived so we found our site easily. There are full hookups and our site is just lovely with wonderful views. It has been nice and peaceful to listen to the birds and crickets. The road into the campground is a gravel road and there are a few potholes on the stretch in but we got in just fine with our 36ft motor home.

We called and made reservations and was told that there was one site available. Glad to hear we that because WV is sometimes hard to find Campgrounds. Initially our GPS had me pointed to a one lane dead end street. We are 42 feet long with another 10 feet of truck in front of it. This was not the best predicament to be in but was able to turn around in a field. GPS fail. Got headed in the right direction now frazzled to find out that the roads appeared to be better coming in until having to turn on the one lane dirt road again and being told to drive forward and turn around, flash back to 52 ft rig length and one lane road. Got turned around and drove back to the area that we were told was our site. Backing up a hill/mountainside and Jack knife the rig into position. Again, we did successfully get into the site but I won't disconnect because of the slope. All of this said, I was still anxious from the first one way dirt road. The owner is a nice and very helpful and experienced at helping people back into his sites. I'm giving it a 4 star rating but ensure that you call and make sure there is room for you. Most sites are long-term sites. The park is clean and well maintained. Underlying question that you should be asking is, Would I come back?" I would come back if I was crossing West Virginia again.
