Great park for kids and toddlers. Lots of different, slides, rides, swings, sand box and even a swinging boat.

Great park for toddlers and younger children. Ferry playground is great for the toddlers, and children that can handle bigger jungle gyms will love the pirate ship/island motifs. Sprinkler in the summer, and a sandpit are big draws. There are also swings for all kids. Good running paths and a great lawn for people looking to play soccer or Frisbee. Only drawback is there isn't that much to do for older kids, a basketball court would be a great add on.

I know people who have had events their it is parks department land so you may have to contact them first to get a permit they are $25 the last i checked a few years back and they are non refundable. Hope this was helpful.
I did not see any, but their is a D&D right up the street.
