Harley Starnes, was our tech and he did a very thorough cleaning and inspection of our fireplace and chimney. Tristans sent an email with a picture of him before he arrived in order that we were confident of what to expect. He went over his inspection with me in detail when he had completed the work. All in all very professional.

Chance and Harley were super professional today. They swept our fireplace and showed us what they saw in the chimney. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs their fireplace assessed and/or swept.

Chance came to do an inspection for us. He was extremely knowledgeable and took his time to explain our options as far as repair. Everyone I have been in contact with were very polite. They were able to fit us into their schedule in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend!!

Gas logs are not a repair system. The firebox and venting system must still meet the standards set by the manufacture of the log set as well as the NFPA 211.
Have decorations and valuables removed from the hearth area or from around the floor directly in front of and to the sides of the fireplace, before your certified sweep arrives. Also please refrain from having a wood fire for at least 24 hours prior.
The process can usually take an hour to an hour and a half.
Most chimney odor problems are a result of creosote paired with humidity. The simple solution is to have your chimney cleaned and waterproofed. Be sure to have your chimney checked for leaks as well and ask about a top-mounted damper.
If your fireplace is smoking, check for these things: Creosote buildup in the flue and on the cap, animals and nesting materials, or other flue blockages. The best way to handle these things is to have your chimney professionally cleaned.
The NFPA recommends that you get your chimney inspected annually, and swept as needed.
If you have a chimney fire, call the fire department and evacuate your home. Do not use your chimney and fireplace until it has been professionally inspected and cleared for use.
Whether you burn wood or fire logs, flammable particles are created and carried up with the smoke. These particles can settle along your chimney liner and cause a chimney fire, which can easily spread to other areas of your home through cracks in the liner. We recommend as well as the national fire protection association an annual inspection
