This place is beautiful. It's located on the little back road behind haze Walmart that cuts through to McDonald's/ turkey hill on 309 or to rt.93 by Chipotle. But the park is beautiful, it has so much for children and adults alike. A few large jungle gyms, sports fields (soccer, football, baseball), jogging track around the pond where you can also go fishing. There is a full size train engine and a full size army tank for people to view, (fully refurbished).

Nice place to walk around the lake, nice playground for the kids

They do not allow dogs at park so we had to walk around to get to the pond. If plan on fishing there's a lot of seaweed. Didn't get to see the park cyz having to detour. Will visit again. Seems like a nice clean park.

Not available here
You can use it if it's not occupied. You don't need permission
Wrong this is a park to spend time with family’s and friend but we do not accept pets unless it’s under 50lbs
There is a sign up on pole in park, pets not allowed. You can take animals on Rails to Trails.
Call to be safe but I think it's first come, first served
I take my beach chair(can't swim in Lake Irene) and a book and enjoy watching people fish, walk around the lake, picnic in the pavilions, or play on the playground equipment and it's all FREE!👍😀👍🇺🇸
As far as I know, it is first come first served but you could always call the hazleton borough to find out officially the who's, when's and whats about it all?!?!
Yes! The grills in the park are free to use for everyone :)
