I could not say enough good things about this facility. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. The facility is very clean. The staff are competent and provide good care. I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed if you place your loved one in this skilled nursing care facility!

This 5 star review is explicitly about Sheena Brown, the current social worker at Whitestone Care Center. Without her, I don’t think I could write as good a review. My 72 year old father has been in Whitestone for physical and occupational therapy for several weeks after a temporary hospitalization. Meanwhile, I work at a demanding corporate job in CA, 3000 miles away which made coordinating care for my father throughout this experience incredibly stressful and intimidating. How could I coordinate my father’s needs and discharge plan while also delivering on my own performance at one of the most difficult times at my own place of work? Sheena has been instrumental in making sure that I could complete every bureaucratic task in regards to my father’s stay and discharge. Full of grace from our very first phone call, Sheena has tirelessly worked to help me organize VA paperwork, public notary services, POA documentation, mailing me critical original paperwork and more! She has kept me informed at every turn and has gone beyond her expected duties even offering to help troubleshoot my father’s personal Venmo account for us because I could not be there in person. My entry interaction with Whitestone was rough- I DO have some critiques for their phone system which is a potentially wormhole like experience- but even in the face of my initial frustrations Sheena was welcoming, helpful and supportive. Personally- I know how hard it is to hold up an entire department by oneself, so I hope Whitestone will consider supplying her with a larger team and more resources so that she can continue to positively effect this business and generate more 5 stars reviews. It’s a scary thing when your parent needs help and you can’t uproot your life from across the country for them. You rely on those who choose care as their career path and the nobility therein! But if you get a chance to receive support from Sheena, you will see you are in caring and capable hands!
