I went to this site for a pre-employment drug screening and waited 2 hours. I felt stuck because my drug screening was issued on Sunday morning at 7am and expired in 48 hours, which would be 7am Tuesday. Well nowhere is open on Sundays to take a drug test and nowhere is by 7am. I am not the best at just getting up and going so I thought I’d just go here since they close at 8pm and by 4. That was a mistake! Had I known I would have gladly went to another collection site! I should have asked about the wait but I didn’t have many other options at the time. People were told about the wait being 2 hours for physicals and other things that require a physician so I can understand, however all I needed to do was pee in a cup. They don’t even test it on site.

I'm from out of state, here visiting family and ended up needing an urgent care visit. I can honestly say this was the best urgent care I've been too! Whole visit was maybe 30 minutes. Saw the NP Desiree and she is an absolute gem, keep her at all costs MedExpress!!! Admin staff from check in to check out was equally wonderful, very quick, efficient and extremely nice. I ended up having a sinus infection that just needed an antibiotic, but since it was with Covid symptoms, they have you call while you wait outside and get all your info over the phone so you don't have to wait inside and possibly spread something to other patients. Very easy process! Thank you all very much for the excellent care!

The worst place to go takes over an hour to go back when there’s only 2 other people in the lobby

We arrived at 2:00 because my dad just needed to get his ears cleaned. It was over an hour before they actually called us to the desk to pay, and then ANOTHER hour to actually call us in. We left 5:30 and the actual procedure still ended up taking forty minutes even though it should only take ten or twenty. Abysmal wait times.

The cost of a visit to MedExpress varies by patient based on the services they receive and the specifics of their insurance plan. MedExpress accepts most major insurance plans to help patients avoid out-of-network costs and also offers affordable pricing for those without insurance. If you have insurance, you can follow-up with your health insurance provider to double check if MedExpress is covered under their health plan and any expenses that may be incurred such as co-pay, deductibles, or co-insurance. For those without insurance, self-pay services start at $119 in PA centers.
Thank you for your question! MedExpress is offering COVID-19 evaluations and testing for travel considerations. We currently offer both rapid antigen and laboratory send-out PCR COVID-19 testing. The type of test administered is determined by our providers after a medical evaluation and is based upon CDC recommendations, the type and duration of symptoms, and travel considerations. Timing may vary depending on the volume of tests being performed by our commercial lab partner, but it is currently taking around 3-7 days for patients to receive send-out laboratory PCR results.
Hi Michelle -- A TB test must read between 48-72 hours after it is planted. Hope this helps!
MedExpress is offering COVID-19 evaluations and testing at designated centers to help support our local communities' health care needs amid the pandemic. In order to ensure individuals receive the highest-quality care and treatment, all individuals seeking care at MedExpress for known or suspected COVID-19 cases will receive an examination by a MedExpress health care professional who will determine if testing is needed and which testing method may be most appropriate, including rapid antigen and laboratory send-out PCR COVID-19 testing. Please note that for the most accurate COVID-19 test results, the CDC and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) recommend that individuals who are not showing symptoms, but who have had close contact with an individual who has tested positively for COVID-19, wait five to seven days after the known exposure to get a COVID-19 test. Additionally, the CDC and AAFP recommend self-quarantining for 14 days after a known exposure to COVID-19, even if no symptoms are present.
Hi Autumn -- We do ask you to show a photo ID when checking-in at our centers, but it isn’t required for treatment; however it is an important safe-guard to make sure we are identifying you as the correct person, and you will be required to pay at the time of service as we are unable to bill insurance without proper ID. Also, without a proper ID, we might not be able to prescribe certain types of medication. Acceptable forms of ID include a valid driver’s license, valid Dept. Motor Vehicles Photo Identification Card, valid passport, valid U.S. Military Identification Card, credit card with picture ID, employee identification card issued by employer with picture and full name or a student ID card with picture and full name.
You can pay your bill online by visiting our Bill Pay Portal on our website. You’ll need to know your quick pay code, which is located on your patient statement at the top right of the page. For more details or to direct questions to our customer service department, please visit the Pay My Bill section on our website.

Our full medical team will gladly evaluate anyone in need of medical care and help decide the best plan of treatment. It’s always best to call your local center first to see if the immunization you’re looking for is in stock. As for children, MedExpress does not provide routine child immunizations with the exception of annual flu shots (for children ages 4 and older) and tetanus shots (if needed due to an injury).

MedExpress’ providers will evaluate and treat patients of all ages, including infants. Depending on the presenting symptoms, infants need to be directed for further evaluation, but our team of clinicians can help to determine the best plan of treatment. While MedExpress will evaluate anyone – regardless of age – who visits one of our centers, our providers may decline to treat infants (6 months or younger) and refer them back to their pediatrician or ER, where they can receive the best possible care.
