As my long time dentist retired, I had to find a new dentist and chose Northstar because they were close to home, had convenient hours and participated in my insurance. Could not have been happier with my first visit. Everyone was so welcoming and made me feel so comfortable. Very professional and modern. I look forward to a long relationship with them!

True story: I went to Northstar Dental with a pain coming from one tooth. Doctor Basil did an x-ray and checked all my teeth. He found cavities in like eight teeth. He did a repair on two plus eight were drilled and filled up. The most important thing is that I would never give him even one tooth to drill. On top of that after a couple months I felt like I would be waking up from hypnoses. I immediately called his office and asked for copies of my x-ray. After a third-party check, they did not find any cavities. What I found out later all his office staff was replaced. During my visit I barely can remember anything, I wonder what he did to me, but his assistant was trembling when near him and performing orders by dr. Basil. Later I combined the facts and found that she was forced to do something against her will. Because she knew that my teeth did not have cavities. Another weird thing was, that every time he was taking an x-ray, he had to leave the room, go to another and do something there to show it on a screen in the exam room. I don’t really think he even showed me the correct x-ray on the monitor. The pain that was coming from one tooth, was nothing wrong with it. It was an infected nerve by a virus, because I still had a pain even after drilling. I went to Cherry orthodontist and when he examined my teeth after what dr. Basil had done, he looked stunned. Especially when I told him who did this. I don’t think dr. Basil will hurt every patient. That’s why you fill out a paperwork and all the facts that he might estimate for a potential victim. P.S. Obtaining a consent under hipnoses is considered unconcious and in such thing the performing side should seek approval from a significant other of the patient.
