We are very pleased with Georgia Home Remodeling. They do quality work at an affordable price. They get here on time and do great work. Our work was extensive: they remodeled our kitchen completely, moved our laundry room and dining area by tearing down an exterior wall and lifting up a floor to make our breezeway part of the house. They did new cabinets, appliances, doors, and a window, everything new; it’s a brand new space. Then we asked for lot more work and they accommodated us and rebuilt our front porch, added a deck and screened in porch, reroofed our house, redid our siding and painted everything. It is truly amazing now; most people say it looks like a completely new house. They did so much to our home that the guys who were here a lot became like family. Mark told us often that he just wanted to make us happy; he and Gabe worked daily with us and always happily helped make it the best for us. Chris worked to give us a fair price and explained things to us carefully. Kevin does an incredible job on drywall—a master for sure. They are truly the nicest, honest guys who again are now family to us.

Georgia Home Remodeling did a wonderful job remoldeling our house. Home addition of a new walk in Pantry (much needed in a small house). Installed beautiful wood shelving, and a pocket door. They took down a wall in kitchen and made the kitchen area feel more open. They added granite countertops and a tile backsplash. Installed a new drop in sink. In bathroom they remoced an old fiberglass tub, installed a new tub. Then they tiled around shower area and added sliding glass doors. New commodes, plumbing and new fixtures. New luxury vinyl flooring throughout. If you want someone doing work in your house that is hardworking, trustworthy and honest. Who will listen to your wants and needs, then Georgia Home Remolding is the people you want. Thank you Chris Allen and your crew for the wonderful job you did. We love it!!

What can I say about Georgia Home Remodeling that hasn’t been said already? This being our first ever major construction project and the first time we've ever contracted for work, we searched high and low for a respectable builder who would deliver what we wanted....and we found it with Chris and his team. The Plan: We had an unfinished basement that we wanted to convert into a livable area for our kids and met with Chris to discuss what we were looking for. GHR drew up the plans, quoted us what it would cost to make it happen, and assured us the only way the price would change would be if we chose to include anything that wasn’t in the original plan. True to his word, our project stayed on budget and only the things we chose to add increased the price. So, if you choose to work with them, you can rest assured that only you will change the price. The Team: Kevin was the foreman for our project. Kevin and his team are, in short, amazing. Our project was pretty big (~ 1000 sq. ft.) and, considering the massive scope of our project, his team of electricians, HVAC, builders, plumbers, painters, and sheet rock crew were all very professional as well as knowledgeable. They were always willing to stop and answer any questions we might have about the project and assist with any decisions on things we weren’t sure about. They spent three total months on the project and rocked out the whole time. They were incredibly punctual and very respectful, even when our 13-year old would go down and ask questions without us knowing. The Project: Quality all the way. Chris, Kevin and his team positively nailed it (no pun intended). I have zero complaints and am super impressed with the work they did. When we first conceived the plan, I had some concerns about some areas of the basement being fairly narrow. That proved not to be a concern…..at all. It doesn’t even look like a basement. More of an addition to the house. It’s amazing what they were able to do with the space. The Responsiveness: This was absolute key for me. My biggest concern when we chose to finish the basement was communication. You read enough stories during the research about the nightmares that others have faced with contractors who don’t respond quickly or will disappear for weeks at a time. That is not the case here with Georgia Home Remodeling. Chris was always available to speak either on the phone or through email (which we primarily used). Emails would be responded to almost immediately. I never had an issue with getting into contact with him whenever I had any questions, and his responses were always helpful and knowledgeable. You will have no worries about communication with GHR. The Finish: You can rest easy with choosing Georgia Home Remodeling for your remodel. Our basement is amazing, their work is incredible, and I cannot recommend them enough. If you are looking to remodel, you CANNOT do better than them.

Our job consisted of 2 new windows put in our house, remodeling our fireplace hearth, replacing rotting deck posts, and installing new basement heat and A/C Each task was done with professional work and care. Full cleanup each day after work and removal of debris each day so I didn’t have to look at or stumble over stuff. The craftsmen doing the jobs we’re capable of doing every job proficiently and quickly. Covid slowed down the schedule which took almost a year to complete, but no fault of GA Home Remodeling. It took months just to get some materials ordered in, and they are busy so had to wait to get worked into schedule. We are thrilled with the results and we’ll worth the wait!
