Really nice garden with different plants and trees. Great for dates or taking kids to see different plants. We saw a lot of butterflies flying around and turtles on the pond. If you’re into taking photoshoots, there a lot of great backdrops to choice from. Highly recommend stopping by. Wheel chairs can go through the path. The path dose have exposed tree roots and it’s not paved however. We did see someone go through with a wheel chair, so I’m assuming it’s smooth enough for one. It’s one of those “go at your own risk” type of paths.

Absolutely beautiful! Breathtaking views and a great place to walk and spend the afternoon. The trail is a little over a mile (not wheelchair friendly - there are lots of tree roots and steps). There is lots to see, but the map they give at the entrance is quite helpful. Animals galore & plenty of picnic tables for a little lunch! $12 admission for adults but well worth it!

We came here at the beginning of our vacation and we're far from disappointed. There were plants of all sorts and an abundance of wildlife. When we were driving in, the free roaming cows greeted us and set a happy tone for the rest of the walk. Every worker we came across spoke of how they loved their job, and we're knowledgeable about the park. I would recommend this to ANYONE.

Loved this place! Great gardens to walk around. If you go in the winter there will not be as many plants but there are still so many. Also, around Christmas they decorate the whole gardens. If water level is high you cannot walk on all the boardwalks, but you can still see everything in the gardens

Yes we are pet friendly. We ask that you please keep your fur baby on a leash while inside the gardens. Also, please bring plastic bags for any messes that may happen on the trail. We have a field that they can run free as well near the parking area. Hope this helps.
Sorry, no trams.
Hi Darrell!! Yes, our 4th Annual Garden Show and Spring Festival is Saturday and Sunday, May 5th (from 9:30 am - 5:00 pm) and May 6th (9:30 am - 4:00 pm)! We hope to see you there!! :)
On weekends we generally have a Cuban food truck. Otherwise you are welcome to bring a picnic lunch.
Yes. Your fur baby must be on a leash while inside the garden area. We also ask that you bring plastic bags for any pooty messes that may happen on the trail. Hope this helps!
Yes there's plenty of places to set up a picnic. Depends on the type of view you want.. Beauty is abundant there.
Yes, but you need to call the gardens ahead and let them know you're bringing your dog.
Hi Heather, We have a small waterfall that comes down onto one of the paths. Our guests are welcome to walk under it to cool off!
Yes, Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens is dog friendly! As long as your dog is on a leash inside of the gardens! But there is a big open field that the dogs are allowed to run free in!
There are camping facilities either inside Cedar Lakes or very close by that offer marvelous views. Hope this helps. Check out their website! I go there as a vendor for Our Vital Earth, Inc. once a year for the plant and garden show in May. The place is very big and spectacular.
it is privately operated, not a state or government park
There's lots of paths that go up and down. Kinda bumpy. And lots of steps. So probably not. It's in an old strip mine.😇🦋
Admission is $12.00 for adults and $7.00 for children. We are open everyday but Wednesday, 9:30-5:00.
It is $12.00 for adults and $7.00 for children ages 6-13.
We say we are not handicapped accessable but many people have gone through and enjoyed the Gardens. There are rough areas and a steep slope to get to the lower lvel and back up. It just depends on your stamina!

We went twice last weekend and it was very quiet in the morning. It was busier in the afternoon but it was still easy to social distance.

I was there a couple days ago and yes, still flooded.
Yes they are. My Bella dog was very much welcomed by the volunteer staff. And she absolutely loved it there. And, there were other dogs there when we went and all leashed and cooperative and enjoying themselves immensely.
Hi Debbie, no, we do not have electric carts available for rent, I'm sorry. Although we do not claim to be wheelchair accessible, we try to make it as easy as possible by always having a ramp option throughout the gardens. We do have some exposed tree roots and limerock along some of the paths, which makes it a little bumpy in some areas, but they are sprayed red for easier visibility and to help our guests avoid them! Besides having a few bumpy sections, and a few slopes, I think most guests are able to manage pretty well throughout the entire garden when they bring their own electric wheelchair to use. Of course there are also tons of picnic areas, benches, and covered areas along the path, so if you or anyone in your group ever need to take a break, you are more than welcome to! Lastly, if there is anything we can do to make your visit better or easier, please let us know! Thank you!
No fishing, but fantastic gardens. Great place to bring a picnic lunch. Dog friendly.
You can walk all over, the water is not deep at all.
