I have had 2 joint replacements done at St Thomas in the past year. Both times it was a great experience. The Nursing team, Surgical team, Anesthesiology team, and Therapy team were all professional, kind, caring, and made me feel at ease and comfortable. I highly recommend St Thomas West Hospital. If you need a shoulder replacement Dr. William Willis(TOA) is the best surgeon and Dr. William Carpenter(TOA) is the best surgeon for a hip replacement.

This was my first time in any hospital. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would have to say I was a little nervous, but all my fears were put at ease. It was a pleasant visit and everyone was extremely nice.

Everyone was very pleasant and made me feel at ease with the whole experience

I gave this one star only due to the fact that my surgery and everything BEFORE it went well. Anything after it, however, while I was at the hospital went very badly. I will be happy to provide details if anyone is interested (or cares).
