Website is false advertising. The person who answered the phone was less than helpful and said they do not come to your work site as stated on the website -- sounded like they had no idea what I was referring to. The website clearly says "anytime, anywhere". They said "so you don't have an account here? You'll have to talk to my manager, we don't do on site testing." ..???

Had new employer job screen test. This place is small clean neat and quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will never go downtown to that chaos again even though it's fewer miles from my home.

It may take longer to complete. Eventually, they'll produce enough saliva to saturate the swab though.
Your employer is allowed to test for marijuana because even though it's legal because it's still a drug that causes impairment. Until there's a test for current impairment, many employers plan to keep current test methods in place.
The DOT requires that the specimens be tested at a laboratory.
Yes, you can. For instance, lots of employers reserve using the blood test for post accident situations as they can detect current impairment. And, the DOT requires a urine test, but many trucking companies are implementing the hair follicle test as well for reasons such as there's no way to falsify the test and it identifies drug use for the past 90 days.
The Department of Transportation (DOT) has requested to switch from the urine drug test to the hair follicle drug test. However, it hasn't reveived final approval yet.
Yes, it is. There are a number of reasons that a drug test can yield a false positive result. Medical Review Officers (MRO) determine if a prescription, over the counter medication, or another source may have affected the results.
A DOT-like drug test is made up of the same test panels required by the Department of Transportation. The test identifies amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, opiates, and PCP.
No, it won't but you can request a Kratom drug test at a drug testing company.
There are a few determining factors in how long it takes to receive the results. Negative test results can be obtained in about 24 hours. Should the initial test show a positive result, the specimen goes on for further testing. Depending on the type of drug test used, the results can take a few days up to a week.
Yes, we do. Feel free to call and schedule your appointment at (770) 622-4500.
Yes, we do. We'll roll up on-site during the night shift. This saves your employees from disrupting their sleep pattern to report to a facility during business hours.
It's pretty simple. Don't use drugs.
Not if they don't choose to do so. Marijuana use effects cognitive and motor skills. Someone under the influence on the job is at greater risk of being involved in an accident.
In January 2018, the DOT added the semi-synthetic opioid panel to their test. It identifies oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, and hydromorphone. Most standard 5 panel drug tests look for amphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, opiates, and PCP. However, since manufacturers aren't regulated, check with your drug testing company to make sure you know what's on their 5 panel test.
It's determined by the length of hair used for the test. Human hair grows about 1/2 inch per month. Laboratory technicians cut the submitted sample to a length of 1 1/2 inches. This creates the 90 day window.
Rapid result drug tests are reliable, but the results aren't admissible in court. If you use these tests, a positive result should be confirmed with laboratory testing.
Yes, unless regulated by the DOT or drug testing laws in your state, employers are free to use any of the drug testing methods available.
If we conduct an instant test, there's a result in just minutes. When swabs are sent to the lab for analysis, employers get results back within 48 hours.
No, they can't. Today, software is used to create a random drug testing list from a pool of all employee names—there's no way to pick and choose. It's strictly the "luck of the draw." Research shows that statistically, odds are the only reason that someone's name seems to come up more frequently.
The DOT currently requires all safety sensitive employees to take a urine test. It's true that the HHS approved the oral fluids drug test, however, the DOT hasn't released any information saying they will be incorporating the test into their drug testing procedures. They will begin using the hair follicle test as soon as final approval is received on their request to do so.
They could because the drug metabolites become part of the hair itself as they grow out with the hair. Drug tests generally only look back for three months though.
A properly collected saliva sample will contain metabolites of most drugs for up to 48 hours.
We offer customized drug testing programs for all employers. We’ll gladly handle your program leaving you free to handle other aspects of the business. In addition to DOT drug testing, we offer other forms as well, such as 5 panel, 10 panel, customized, and more! Give us a call to discuss your options. Phone: (770) 627-4500
Actually, we have a don’t for you. Don’t drink excessive amounts of fluid before you go! It could dilute your specimen so that an inconclusive result is received. We're not sure what will happen tomorrow, but in the future telling someone about your condition might be a better plan. Perhaps they already have an alternate means in place just for this situation. Some employers do!
You'll likely lose your job.
It depends on the number of drugs they test for, most urine drug tests start around $30 and increase from there. And, we're not sure if you're an employee or a business owner, however, usually, the employer assumes the cost of any drug testing. Give us a call if you'd like to set something up or discuss your many options. Phone: (770) 627-4500
Yes, most workplace drug tests will detect Ecstasy.
An inconclusive result means that neither a positive or negative result could be determined. The test will have to be retaken—if it's allowed.
