If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Please find yourself another physician! Do not come here especially if you are handicap. They do not care about elderly patients in wheelchairs or walkers. Their parking is the most unfriendly parking for older people that I have ever seen! Drive by and see for yourself. My father sees about 10 specialists and we have great experiences except here. They always run late, they don’t tell you ahead of time if the appt will take 3 hours and when they schedule surgeries, they don’t check the surgeon’s vacation schedule. My dad had surgery scheduled for the 14th (left eye) then on the 28th (right eye) they called 2 weeks before his first surgery to say, they didn’t realize the surgeon would be on vacation. So now he has to wait until October 12. He said that it’s very bothersome that he has good vision in one eye and not the other. So now he has to deal with this for a month because of their error! They literally do not care!! You’re just another number. Find another Doctor!

Unfortunately, things have changed at the Center for Sight. I feel confident Dr. Newman is still a good eye doctor, he was easy going and personable. I am assuming CforS hired an outlier to make changes. There was a mix up regarding my appt putting the onus on me, I informed T. at front desk I really needed to see Dr. Newman as I had eye infection, I was concerned because of my diabetes. She informed me I hadn't been there in 2 years so I was considered a new patient! Particularly during my lapse in seeing the Dr. I was having very serious health issues that I was and am dealing with. So I had to make another appointment as a NEW patient. I am saddened to see what was once at least in my viewpoint a more caring practice on the staff's part than what I experienced recently.

I took my elderly aunt here... they treated her with impatient disdain. When I then said that I was disappointed with their service I was told that I expected too much. I am now going to Chick-fil-A, at least there is customer service somewhere 😀

I would like to obtain additional information by asking a few questions. Your original response stated that on September 12th (Wed) you had a headache and blotch in your right eye. On September 17th (Mon) you were seen and had some testing done. You mentioned Optic Nerve. 1. Did the doctor give you a diagnosis? If so, did it involve the Optic Nerve? 2. When you say "blotch in my right eye", is this something you are seeing when you look out or when you physically look at your right eye? If the blotch is something you see in your vision when looking around, does the blotch move around? 3. Have you had a decrease in vision? 4. Have you had any eye pain? Typically headaches are not ocular related, however, a sudden elevation in eye pressure can cause a headache and involves the Optic Nerve. If you are uncertain of your diagnosis or treatment options given to you by your eye care provider, you may consider a second opinion. Feel free to contact our office for further evaluation.
