My 8 year olds son pediatrician referred us to see Dr Wallace due to my son complaining of stabbing chest pains. I called to make an appt and the receptionist continued to hang up on me in the middle of the call 4+ times. Finally an appt was made. I wasn’t thrilled that the latest they could see him was 2pm because I didn’t want him missing anymore school. However we accepted the appt. When we showed up to the appt, the receptionist did not speak to us whatsoever. We sat in the waiting room about 15 minutes before a nurse. Are to get us. She was cold and didn’t seem friendly. Once back in the room she had my son take his shirt off, lay down and connect the ekg stickers to his chest. She then took his temperature- immediately ripped the stickers off his chest and told us she could not see us bc he was running a 101 temperature. My son is not sick and I had just checked him out of gym to make the appt. Extremely upset with the lack of care or professional at this office. I really hope my sons heart is healthy and he was not just refused service over something so silly.

Sibley Cardiology has need a wonderful experience for our 13 year old daughter. They are very thorough and knowledgeable on the problems our daughter was experiencing. Dr Maloney and the staff were the best to answer all our questions and put our mind at ease with solutions to help our little girl. Thank You Sibley ! The Costas

Dr. Suthar is an amazing knowledgeable pediatric cardiologist. She spent A LOT of time with us listening to us and sharing her vast knowledge. She put things in easy terms for our daughter to understand and gave her great appropriate advice. We highly recommend her.

Went here for a irregular heart beats for my 17 year old, with ECG results from another doctor. Doctor here said have to take ECG again, and later founds everything to be okay as the first results. Suggested to take Color ECHO RT test even though she said may not find anything, not know the cost for it said yes assuming some minor cost, which came up everything normal and ended up with a invoice for $2600 for the tests after 4 months. So just warning to parents to be careful on tests and their prices at this place. Heard they have a great payment plans..lol. not going here again.

Questions & Answers

Why will my visit take 2 to 3 hours?

Your child's visit may require testing that includes an electrocardiogram (EKG) and an echocardiogram (ECHO). We try to include all tests on the day of the first visit to avoid your family from having to schedule an additional visit later for the testing and results. During the visit, the cardiologist will review the images, relay findings, and make a plan for your child's continued care.

Your child's visit may take 2-3 hours depending on testing and the need of the patient. This may include time in the waiting room to complete all needed tests and have a consultation.

How much will my visit cost?

The cost depends on the services required to diagnose or treat your child’s condition. There is an office visit cost, and you could have an EKG/ECHO cost. Your insurance will determine your costs. The remaining balance will be what your insurance allows (generally around $700.00 for a first-time visit). If you have a copay, coinsurance, and/or deductible, you will be responsible to pay for that portion of the bill first; your insurance company will pay their agreed upon portion of the bill. If your cardiologist determines your child requires additional testing the cost could be more than a regular office visit cost.
