Needed a prescription for pain before leaving out of town. They send it to another town. Now I'm leaving in pain. Nobody cares. Friday is bad day to deal with Katie.

Amazing care and the solutions worked for my wife. It's a great place. Insurance or very reasonable cash pricing. Highly recommended. I've just read some of the negative reviews and I'd like to present my perspective on four areas 1) When we were referred here we assumed it would be to get drugs because we didn't think there was another solution. To our great pleasure, there was! Opiates kill hundreds of Americans every day and tear families apart. If you need them you need them but if you can avoid them you should. To be clear this is not a palliative care clinic, they use drugs when they must but physical intervention when they can. They also could have sold us three procedures at the same time for the same price but insisted we do them one at a time in case one was not effective OR one was so effective that it solved everything. This is beyond ethical. 2) The prices of the procedure are set by your insurance carrier or Medicare. If you don't like the insurance price, negotiate and pay out of pocket. We pay cash and receive the same treatment and level of courtesy as someone paying up to 3 times as much. Don't blame this practitioner for the state of health care in America. 3) In my experience the staff at all levels is amazing. I haven't met the cleaning people but I'm pretty sure we know everyone else. They know who we are, what was done before, they are friendly. They deal with people in excruciating pain all day long every work day. If you catch one frustrated or flustered at one moment that does not merit a one or two star review. 4) Is it hard to get an appointment? Not at all! Is is hard to get one exactly when you want if you want it a week away? Absolutely! A good business is busy. This unique set of skills is nearly induplicable. The extra time given to patients when they are in the office might mean a few less people can be seen, but when you are there you have complete attention.

This is a wonderful practice with a great doctor and staff. I have a chronic condition called Notalgia Paresthetica, which is a severe, intense and unbearable neuropathic itch below my left shoulder blade. It is extremely underdiagnosed and therefore there is no known cure and not a lot of treatments that result in much relief. I have seen several neurologists that had never heard of it, really didn't take me seriously, and weren't even willing to learn about this condition. After trying everything from acupuncture to prescription meds my General practitioner sent me to Dr. Rubin. He did a diagnostic nerve block to identify the nerve, and then an ablation to destroy a portion of the nerve tissue which causes an interruption of the itch signals to the brain. The procedure was easy and successful. After 10+ years I am totally itch free. I cannot recommend Dr. Rubin and his staff enough. They were kind, professional and listened to me. And they so improved my quality of life. I very highly recommend Dr. Rubin!

Sorry, I have no idea about rates. Best bet is to call them - I'm sure it is standard rate for evaluation , at least.
