Huntsville Metro has helped me out tremendously from opioid addiction. The staff is very nice and easy to get along with and the director is always polite and positive. Additionally I absolutely love my counselor. She’s amazing and always doing everything she can to help. I attended the clinic for 10 years and of the three I’ve attended this one is the best.

I've been going here for a few years now so I wanted to update. I am leaving it at 5 stars 🌟 because they have more than earned it. I absolutely love my counselor and almost everyone I've met has been amazing. A few of the dosing nurses are less than friendly but I imagine they have bad days like the rest of us so I just smile and let it go. I am very glad I went when I did because I probably wouldn't be here otherwise. I know alot of people only have bad things to say but I've heard more good than bad. And my personal experience has been mostly good.

You always feel welcome here! The nurses, counselors, and doctor, always treat everyone with respect and dignity. Terry, the director is always so helpful and friendly. If you or anyone you know needs help with addiction, this is honestly the best place in North Alabama!.

They do prescribe subutex. I do not believe that it is only to pregnant women. You can call them and ask to speak to a nurse or Anyone really, they can get the answers to all of your questions. They are amazingly kind so don't be intimidated. There's no judgment of any kind and you'll be in the hands of professionals and it is a safe place.
Yes. A state ID. But you might want to call and see if there are any other forms of ID that they can use.
Yes they do guest dose! Its $16 for Methadone and they dose 5-10 am on weekdays and 6-8 am on weekends. Call them!
Renea - Yes, the Huntsville Metro Treatment Center offers methadone, buprenorphine and suboxone medications to help offset the cravings for opioids.
its $15 with no intake fee....totally worth it. Seeing as I was spending over $150/ day on the street, this clinic has totally turned my life around, they saved me, and made me believe that I was worth saving.
depression is common with addiction. if you go to be treated for addiction, your counseling will include depression and if it needs to be more in depth, they will find you what you need
I don't understand the question
yes. they have recently started taking Medicaid. bring your Medicaid card the day you begin
no. be there by 5 a.m and sign in as an intake. that's it!
Methadone is 8 bucks first 30 days then it's 16/ day after that. Suboxone is 11 for the first 30 days and 21/ day after that.
Thank you for your feedback. Our mission is to help people overcome opioid use disorder by integrating treatment, counseling and compassionate patient care that saves lives. We encourage you to connect with the program director to discuss your experience and ways for us to potentially improve.
No, just be there by 5:30 and when they let everyone in tell them you are there for intake.

No....only methadone and buprenorphine.........they only prescribe treatments and counseling for opiate addiction......
At intake they do a drug test but of course they expect it to be dirty. Thats the reason you go, to get off of what you are on with the help of methadone. Then they test you once a month or twice if you are still testing positive for other drugs. Guest dosing means that if you go out of town, they will set it up for you to dose at another clinic in that city because they have sister clinics everywhere. That means you will not have to miss a dose or go through any withdrawal. It really is a great program if you want to get clean off of opiates, and heroin. It has saved my life
Try to sign in at 5, but I believe you can sign in as a new intake up until 8 a.m.
They take medicaid and you can get reimbursed from your private insurance. They just give you the form monthly, then you get reimbursed.

They do have Suboxone. Best to be there by 5am. Driver's License or state issued photo ID is needed. Be prepared to be there a good while.

They will just verify your records and I'm so glad you are at a sister clinic. There should be no problems picking up where you left off there, and welcome!
Now you have to come in every morning that's from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. . That's for 90 days then you can get then you can get weekend take homes which is Saturday and Sunday but that's only if you're clean for the whole 90 days after that you get moved to a weekly take home and after that you get a 2-week take home. Hope that helps you out
No. You dose every day for the first 90 days. If your drug tests are clean, then you get your take home privileges. Weekends first, then phase up to 3 days, then 90 days later you get 6 take homes. If you have clean drug screens all the way through 2 years you can get up to 13 take homes. So if you do it right, you can come once a week, or even just twice a month.
Bridget - We believe in harm reduction and you will be allowed to participate in the Huntsville Metro Treatment Center Clinic, however you will be asked about your other drug uses and possibly referred to additional organizations to help you with those narcotics as well.
I think I heard them say 5-8,call and ask usually someone is there til around 3
Beth - You will need to discuss guest dosing with your Mobile counselor and he/she will make the arrangements with Huntsville. They both need about 3-5 days advance notice.
they are open the same hours as reported above. holiday hours are an exception and are announced the week of. if there are weather warnings or things like that, they always announce immediately and give every one the chance to get in before they close
if they change the hours for the weather, they give everyone the chance to do what they need to do before closing...
