Very caring staff, always a pleasure. This has been such a stressful time in all of our lives, I appreciate that they are nearby.

Vets here are solid, most of the techs are super nice and seem competent, but the office manager makes everything more difficult instead of more manageable and is very unpersonable to some clients. Also, don't expect them to return your calls or provide appts or prescriptions in a timely and responsible manner. :( Also, don't expect them to actually be open often - only set to be open M, T, Th, & F on a regular basis and then are randomly closed some of those days, too. :/

As as a pet lover and many pet owner, I've pretty much been to all the vets in Amador County, a few that were popular but AWFUL. We came to Shenandoah Vet by chance. We needed a vet appointment pretty fast and with the pandemic, every other veterinary office either didn't respond, or couldn't get us in for weeks, but Shenandoah was able to schedule us the next day. Since then we have been bringing all of our animals here. They have been so amazing, even during the pandemic. I have been really surprised by how kind and incredibly thorough the veterinarian is. The only downside is at this veterinary office at this time, you cannot go in with your pet, which is really hard. I have seen my relatives be able to enter their vets within the county just fine as long as they have a face mask, but here you cannot.π Though we've had to leave our pets a couple times, the veterinarian does call us and update us often and does explain everything very well. We sadly had to put our beloved lab down last month. It was the hardest thing ever but the staff and the veterinarian herself met us outside and were very compassionate, and that meant a lot to us. This far, we've had a great experience.

These women are great! They are smart, efficient, friendly, and they really seem to care about my dog. The vet is a good diagnostician- she figured out things the other vets didn't pick up. Their fees are much less than the last vet I went to. These people do not push tons of unnecessary expensive stuff on me- they just take very good care of my dog. I like them a lot and will continue to take my animals here. Update- the second vet saw my dog today. She's great too! I just cant say enough good things about these people.

Yes
I believe they do.
Depends on the breed, typically small breeds get 3 DHPP vaccines while large breeds get 2 DHPP 1 DHLPP and 1 booster for L (which is Lepto). And at 16 weeks they get Rabies vaccine.
