I was spoken down to, lied to, denied basic rights and the nurses kept changing their rules. I was dehumanized and spoken to as if I had no rights. This facility ought to be shut down due to the way they run their facilities and they truly have no care or concern for their patients nor the patients family. In fact Charles, the rn on the night shift of October 3, 2022 lied to my mother about being placed in a 72 hour hold forcibly and called the cops on her when she was trying to rescue me out of a horrible situation. They charged me $1000+ for absolutely nothing I was not treated but simply held hostage even though I had voluntarily. Checked in.SHAME.ON.YOU

This place is disgusting. As someone who works in healthcare and comes from a family of mental health professionals, I am appalled at the way they treated my family member. Upon arriving, it seemed like a good place. The initial social worker assured my family member- who was voluntarily going there for some safety and health during a rough time- personal space, autonomy, a meal when they got up to their room, and assured them that their personal items (apart from what was not allowed) would go upstairs as well. After I left, my mother stayed behind and soon after admission she received a call stating that the nurses denied my family member a meal, stating that she declined a meal. This is a flat out lie. My family member was offered a meal before admission OR a meal upstairs after admission and initial vitals. No one declined a meal. Afterwards, they refused my family member their belongings, including the 5 casual outfits and paperback book allotted for patients. The staff did not give this to my family member until my mother essentially begged them to. My mother stayed and advocated for a meal to be given to my family member, which it never was, until another staff member threatened to call the police. I was on the phone trying to get some help but was spoken to rudely and like an idiot. No one helped my family member who had gone there for some help. In the morning, my family member was denied personal hygiene products and missed breakfast, and while other patients received juice and breakfast boxes despite missing breakfast as well, no one brought my family member food. This means that my family member was denied food for 24 hours. Staff told them, “If you wanted better care, you shouldn’t have come here.” Luckily, the facility discharged my family member to our care soon after. This is an abuse of power. People, no matter WHAT their background, race, sex, sexual orientation, mental status, etc. should be given respect, autonomy, kindness, and at the very least the basic necessities to survive. When someone voluntarily admits themselves because the pressures of life are too much, they deserve some level of kindness. I have the utmost respect for healthcare providers and those who sign up for the difficult task of caring for others, but am seriously questioning the ethics and morals of this facility. Do not promote a safe space for people in need if you’re going to further demean and traumatize them.

The billing is a nightmare. I was pressed for payment before my insurance was ever billed, and random bills arrive for payment with no explanation. The billing office won't take calls and won't leave messages, so how do I get my questions answered? This is all apart from the facility "doctors" who neglected to keep my child's meds consistent or communicate about changes. They are just warehousing patients without care to make a profit, that CLEARLY isn't spent on the facility or services.

Awful experience. I was a young teen when I was sent here in 2017 for an M1 (72 hour) hold and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. Stick a bunch of kids with suicidal and homicidal tendencies in one ward together and watch the chaos ensue, right? No. We were “skin checked,” meaning strip searched to check for signs of self harm every morning, they even monitored us while showering. Huge invasion of privacy, safety, and security for patients, and absolutely absurd how trauma-unformed the “professionals” were.
