Noise inside the restaurant is tough to have a normal volume conversation. A lot of competition between the music, noise from kitchen and other customers talking.
I've never had less than better than average to excellent food served.

Always a great experience. My steak dinner was great. My sister enjoyed the salmon. My friends thought the linguini and duck were just ok. Fried green tomatoes were epic.
Is it possible to order a dessert for a birthday ahead of time (something for a party of 4 to share, maybe not a cake)? what is the lead time needed to order and what are the choices if this is a possibility? Need it for Friday night (Sept. 23)

Try calling them during lunch, sometimes the pastry chef is there around that time, she's probably the only one who can answer these questions. If you're ordering 4 portions from the menu it's no big deal, anything else you'll need to ask.

I think it depends on the number of Staff they have available
I had a wonderful melon soup here visiting 2 years ago. I would love the recipe or just the ingredients. Last year when I visited and came again I had lots of great food but no melon soup. Coming again this year when I visit the area. Is it back?
