My wife was at the woods about a year before she pasted.. The staff was wonderfull to my wife and I.Helpful in every way which help me with my lost. If the time comes when I need this service I would go there if possible.Gary

I was a server. They have flexible hours around sports and school. The managers are easy to work with. It's not hard work, just a lot of standing. It's nice getting to know some of the residents.

The Woods at Cedar Run is an excellent choice for any level of senior living. My mom started there almost three years ago in an Independent Living apartment and is now in Memory Care. The Memory Care staff is kind, caring, knowledgeable and fun, which leads to a family-like atmosphere. Actually, the staff in the whole darn place is amazing. You will always feel welcome and comfortable at The Woods.

* independent apartment experience. June 21 thru Jan 22. Bedroom window required caulking. Mosquitos/moths entered through tears in window screens. In December covered bedroom window in plastic for warmth. Forced air heating, heat available at discretion of maintenance department. Heat was turned on in October and after that AC was not available. Thermostat positioning was between air outlet grill and balcony door. No heating source in the bedroom. Scary elevator ride in November. Following two days later for smoke in elevator engine room. 911 called and fire department came. Living and bedrooms ceiling have popcorn ceilings. (Mixed with vermiculite or polyurethane) typical of homes built before the 70's. Apartment doors vibrates, placed cardboard between door and frame to stop jiggling. Department of aging not able to assist with living condition concerns. Was informed, since independent living it was landlord to Tennant issue. Landlord being The Woods executive and Tennant being Wood s resident.
