Worth the trip off of 81 to visit. This is a gem of a shop and will definitely be added to my annual quilt stops. The selection of fabrics were fantastic. The fabric selections were tasteful, unique and unlike typical fabrics found at every other quilt shop. I wish I would have taken more photos to show just how cute this shop was. (I was definitely too busy shopping!) The staff (I assumed was the owner) was professional, friendly and knowledgeable.

I stumbled upon Smile Spinners the other day with my girlfriend while going for a drive. We caught sight of the brightly colored building and had to stop by! And I must say, everything about the place was charming! Jessica Bacon greeted us and toured us around the showroom and gave us the history of the family business. We left feeling so inspired and with smiles on our faces.

I highly recommend Smile Spinners for all of your sewing projects, the inventory is extensive, and the design assistance is first rate (and from the garment houses in NYC)! Jessica curated the fabrics for this log cabin quilt. I sat in a chair and gave "forest green" as the direction. I love the outcome. Thank you Jessica, Cathy and Caleb. I am a quilter through the patient tutoring and encouragement of this team. Stop in and you will be pleasantly surprised. You will enter as a shopper and leave with new friends.

Hi Bethany, we carry 5,000 fabrics at the moment and specialize in cotton poplin prints, many of which our clients use for home dec and upholstery purposes. It all depends on your project. We have started bringing in heavier weight cotton sateens and jacquards from France which are specifically designed for upholstery ( but we’ve been using them for garments!!). I’d recommend coming by for a visit to check out our stock and work with our staff about your project. You can also check SmileSpinners.com and review our fabric Selection by fabric type. Hi Judy! Thanks for your question! We can certainly check and clean your Janome! We will see all machine brands, models and ages now! Repairs may be limited, depending on the age and model of the machine, but we will definitely do cleanings on all types! Come in any time, you don't need an appointment. You will have to leave your machine with us for a day or two though, so please keep that in mind. We look forward to having your machines for a 'sewing machine SPA day!'
