Very middle of the road Italian bakery in Astoria. Good service. A bit pricey, but that’s all Italian bakeries selling cookies by the pound. Rainbow cookies were a bit stale. Sprinkle jam cookies were just ok. Strawberry shortcake: cake was light and fluffy, but icing was too much and the filling is the jammy kind with strawberries. Not terrible, but not my favorite either. My family said the cannolis were good. The personal size fresh fruit tart was yummy (and probably the only thing I’d go back for, if at all).
