Ordered a bacon cheeseburger for pick up. I didn't ask for the price. Thought it'd be around $12 give or take (I didn't order fries. Just a burger). To my surprise it came up to $17.95. The lady at the cash register said the American cheese and bacon were extra 🙄. $18 for a burger is ridiculous. Went home and there was one measly slice of bacon on my sandwich. The burger was super dry. I know rent is expensive but seriously?!?! Never again. Steer clear of this place. It's a rip off.

JEN was RUDE, MEAN, and UNCUSTOMARY Service Oriented. Because of her, if she ever works the register to take orders when I, my family, or friends come in to dine or take out. I/we will walk out. I have come to JOY Burgers for years. In spite of the higher prices, quantity of food being less (I.e fries) or smaller (i.e sandwiches, burgers), I still come as a treat every now and then. And even in spite of the new personnel not as friendly or inviting as the past personnel. But the lady JEN made me not want to come to JOY BURGER again. Especially if she is working. She takes the Joy out of its name. Customer Service is Everything! I know because I work in Customer Service. And certainly do not treat my customers patronizing my business as Jen did. Thank you to the gentleman who cooked my burger. It was very good & and you were very nice and friendly.

It's with a heavy heart that I write that this restaurant has gone super downhill, what feels like almost beyond repair. Used to come here at least once a week, but the've changed so much it's unrecognizable. Their burgers are not only smaller, but more expensive and poorer quality. Their fries went from the best fries I've ever had to being something out of the freezer section at a supermarket. This used to be my favorite burger place in the city, recommended it to all of my friends! Now I refuse to go back until they bring back the same quality they once had. These new owners really did mess the place up, and unfortunately I can't give this iconic institution my support anymore. Truly depressing.
