Went to Lagos yesterday because we were in the area and it was the first to pop up on our gps and has a 4 star rating!!!! I really don’t know why. I would give 0 stars. I don’t usually like to bash or give bad rating’s especially on black/African own restaurants but seriously the place was disgusting. I almost walked and I should have. They hardly had anything ready like how do you not have your most popular dishes ready is beyond me. The place could be cleaner and as the lady was talking to us taking our order she was picking in her teeth with her nail 🤢🤮. Like wth. I was gonna walk out then me and my husband and I really wish I would have. The guy preparing our food has a disgusting bad attitude which also turned me off. My husband said hi and he gave him a disgusted look like excuse me sir we are supporting your business which is not good at all. $30 later and we were so disappointed. We basically threw our food out because I just couldn’t stomach it at all. It pained me to throw that food away. I did taste it but couldn’t get past the unprofessional nasty hygiene and nasty attitude of the guy, my stomach was turned for the rest of the day. I really wish we would’ve just said no thank you we changed our mind and left. Like how disrespectful to pick your teeth with your nails in front of us and then she was tasting the food she was cooking with her hands which we saw too 🤮. Like ma’am we just went through a whole pandemic folks dying and you still can’t practice proper hygiene. 🤦🏾‍♀️The health department should go inspect that place smh. The mean guy was also dirty ugh 😣 my stomach is off again just writing this review. I would not recommend this place and I’m pretty sure they have 4 stars because their fellow Africans support them or they have folks putting those positive reviews for them smh because ain’t no way 😣. I feel like if you can’t respect preparing our food correctly with proper hygiene and with love then you get a honest review whether it be good or negative. Do better Lagos.

Went there with my family. Service was great. The place might need a little upgrade, but the food was super good. The lady was very friendly even went out of her way to make us some puff puff. If you never had them they are the best. Love it will definitely going back.

I don't like giving bad rating but this experience was horrible. They kept us waiting for more than 30minutes, going back and forth asking us to relate our orders. I couldn't believe the lady picking on top of our food as she serve. And worse, everything over priced and servings not worth it. I love African food and restaurants but this gotta do way better. Also, the pictures on the menu were quite impressive but what we got served was a big mess and far inferior.
