So where do I start I went to the restaurant with my kids to eat food. I thought that we could order the lunch special and sit down in the dining room area with the big tables to eat. According to the waitress she said that I cannot order the lunch special and eat it in the big dinning room and if I wanted what they offered on the lunch special it would cost more money and the portions would be bigger and separate. So now we had to get up go to the other side and I was going to order it to go but then the lady that was serving the food said that me and my kids could sit in that area mind you they have a small table that can only fit two people to eat not only that they did not even clean the tables. After receiving my food when I went to go eat it the rice was hard and the chicken was cold I spend $30 which was a complete waste. You asked me what's wrong so that you can fix it but as I read the reviews I'm not the only one that's complaining about the food being cold .

Awesome chicken chunks, beans, rice and salad. Plantain was sweet, not hard or greasy.

I attended a wedding reception at YAYOS. In the lower area of the restaurant. The food was good. I had the Calamari for an appetizers it was delicious. For my entrée I had churassco steak, mixed veggies, and sweet plantains it was all delicious. Some had shrimp for an appetizer it was good as well a long with mash potatoes, and rice and peas. The mashed potatoes was good, some said the rice was a little dry. I would definitely come to eat again. I don't know if I would use it for a reception. The place was set up beautifully the dj was excellent, and they had a 360 machine, I think the staff was a little overwhelmed with with the amount of people they were serving.

I spent 20.00 for 6 small pieces of oxtails, never again. They will never get my money. Should have went to smith street. Yayo the worst!!!!!!
