You really shouldnt be advertising that you have wifi considering it does not work. I imagine its because you dont have the right internet service , bandwidth, or hardware for the amount of people here. 1 star because I just got here and already regret choosing this place. Also cell service is bad. Which is okay. Its a rural area so i didnt expect to have good cell service. But youre advertising wifi. I wouldnt have come here if i had known the wifi is useless, and dont have the option of using my cell as a wifi hotspot because of the poor reception. I can connect to wifi but it says "internet may not be available". Its so slow that i can barely even load basic websites and email app on my phone , much less watch TV or any of the things that i would expect to be able to do when im paying $425 a month for a place that claims to have wifi. Its nonsense. I see reviews from months ago that are complaining about the terrible WIFI. Its been long enough for yall to get that working properly. And youre raising rent prices? Before you fix this major issue? Priorities? And one of your restrooms has been out of service for how long? I see old reviews complaining about that. I assumed that would be taken care of by now along with the wifi issue. Guess thats what i get for having the expectation that you would have the amenities that are being advertised. Guess i can go and spend $250 on a mobile hotspot and internet service and just hope to god that it works out here.

Would not recommend this park! Women in the office are somewhat rude. We asked for a site with shade since it was going to be 106 for the week we were there..there was a site opened and they said sorry they had someone coming in. It was vacant the entire week we were there so not very honest people~ maybe they just care more about the long term people since the park is full of them. Sites extremely small, dirty and rundown and far from town! Try Flat Creek RV park if you are in Waco..much nicer!!

RV CAMPER'S CLUB (500-Strong and Growing)

It’s a discouraging update about Patriot RV -formerly RIverview RV Park- for our fellow campers in our Campers Club! We have some BAD news. Our club just learned from Maggie (email author of our Monthly Newsletter) that the new owners at Patriot RV Park-Waco have decided to strip ALL future campers of the cable TV service? That’s right! No more cable TV at this park -coming soon? It’s either time to buy a $3,000.00 satellite system and a monthly cable network package (Dish/DirecTV) or start staying at another site that continues to offer basic services (like TV service and good WIFI etc). Several Waco campsites offer TV service and don't advertise it. Even if you do buy a satellite system (which a few of us already have) the trees and homes at the south end of the park BLOCK the signal. That means you will have to buy an expensive -$80 a month minimum- monthly internet streaming service eg. youtube TV to get TV but the WIFI service is always poor or broken there so forget that one. Frown We can’t believe it. For the past 20 years while camping there, our club members have all enjoyed the TV service that has worked perfectly. In the past some channels were always better than no TV channels. Good grief!! Apparently Patriot RV Park-Waco believes that ALL campers DO NOT want to watch TV while they are relaxing in their RV's? We all enjoy hanging out around our circle of friends for a few hours but what are we supposed to do when we get inside our RV there? We are also guessing that Patriot RV Park-Waco has determined that the average camper can afford an expensive satellite system - along with the associated monthly TV subscription charges or an expensive monthly streaming service (dependent upon a good WIFI signal and service)??? We don't know what they are thinking here but it looks like TV service at Patriot RV Park-Waco will soon be gone forever -beginning sometime in March of 2022? We are guessing that the new owners are OK with losing future campers to their competitors? The TV service made it worth the big hassle and extra miles to get there but??? Here's some better news! It appears -Joan and Harvey told us- that the previous issues with the sewage smell has been cured and the wash and dry facilities have been updated so there is that. Although it is not always advertised on their websites there are plenty of RV parks in the Waco area -easier to get to and closer to the highway- that have always offered TV service included with their daily rates. Bad decisions always have bad consequences. As soon as everyone stays there without TV and the word spreads to others -no TV service- we can't imagine the park will continue to attract the loyal campers. Surely the owners will realize that saving a few bucks now will come back to bite them in the long run?? Keep an eye out for our upcoming 'July 2022' monthly Camper Newsletter for more information including campsites that continue to provide basic services such as cable TV service, WIFI internet, etc in the Waco area and at the many other sites where our club stays throughout the year. There are plenty around so don't fret! Good Grief - right? What were they thinking on the TV thing at Patriot??? It just doesn't make good business sense especially in the long run-once the word spreads. Maybe the new owners will figure that one out soon??? We’ll update this review if and when Patriot RV Park makes the prudent and lucrative decision to keep the campers coming by continuing to offer TV services as it has been for 20 years at the now named, Patriot RV Park. I would not recommend this RV spot. Over 95% are long term people and they have the best location (which I would expect). The left over spots have little to no shade (trees). There are only 2 restrooms w/showers. One was out of service. The pad is concrete and very level- great... BUT the previous owner (there's a new ownership) didn't seem to what is needed for RV pad . Like, don't plant a tree next to the pad where the awnings comes out... I couldn't extend my awning. Also, don't place the hookups on a 3.5 foot tall pole (4x4) on the side where slides out need to be extended. I missed the pole by 1.5 inches for my pullout. The Mgt person was very nice and helpful as much as she could. Oh, the pool was nice with plenty of chairs and covered area on the backside.
