Decent micro brewery and tasting room, industrial vibe, with tables outside too. Lots of board games available. We got a couple flights so we could try a bit of everything, fell in love with a few of them - impressed by the sours since I don't always like those. Amazing location too, there are so many cool places to go for lunch or dinner.

Got there for last call , had a tasty and easy to drink local 35. Very tasty , definitely need to try the rest of the taplist. Cool and unique atmosphere and great service. I'll have to come back and spend some more time.

Hog River has a great selection of beers. They have probably the best sours I've tasted at any brewery. We had two flights which covers almost every beer on the menu. I'm not a fan of IPAs but even those are fantastic. That's probably the best part. I'm confident that anyone can find a favorite at Hog River, even the pickiest person. I didn't want to take any stars away for the food delivery service, since Hog River doesn't control that. However, I definitely recommend bringing your own food. We waited 45 minutes for our food when the estimated time was 20-30 minutes. Other than the delay on food delivery everything was fantastic.

Hi! We do have gluten-free hard cider available, as well as wine. We also have non-alcoholic drinks: kombucha, sodas, juice boxes. Cheers!
Great question! We are named after the river that is buried under the city of Hartford. Also known as Park River or Little River, "Hog River" was its slang name. The river which ran through the city and Bushnell Park was buried in the early 1940s. We wanted to pay homage to this little piece of relatively unknown Hartford history.
