Urgent Care for Kids - McKinney

My son and daughter were both seen for fever , headache, sore throat and chest congestion on 10/17. We were asked what there symptoms were they took vitals from the assistants . They were great . The Dr was the issue ! She came in looked in there ears listened to them then said … yea it’s just viral and there is nothing we can give them . Mind you they have been feeling really bad for days . She only checked them for strep barley swabbing them and came back said it was negative. Exactly 8 hours later I’m at our regular drs office and wouldn’t you know strep ! Came back right away positive. This Dr was very unprofessional, didn’t even thoroughly check them out and just told me it was a virus. so not only did she not have a care as to how my kids were feeling she was just rushing to get people out .

They took amazing care of my babies. Quick and efficient with getting them seen and treated. All of the staff were so kind and you can tell they truly care. I’ll be recommending to everyone and returning for any future urgent needs with my kids.

We had terrible experience when we took our infant to this urgent care. The nurse practitioner did strep test for our infant and she cried a lot! Our primary care physician later told us that strep wont be applicable for infants!!

Not friendly staff. Long queue. Go by reservations only. No point calling it an urgent care.
