We just spent 3 nights here and loved it so much. We stayed in the Sky tower which was absolutely gorgeous. Loved the adult pool was only disappointed that is closed at 8. I would have loved coming back after dinner and hanging with the fun people at the pool. (Loved all of the OK Teachers that were there!) Also loved Jamie the bartender, her drinks were great and she was so personable, always went above and beyond to keep our glasses full all while wearing a smile and telling jokes.

We came to the resort at 1:00 am and checked in. We did not go to the room but hit the casino floor. Slots were extremely tight so it was as fun cause you didn't win, not even a couple of dollars. The tables were packed. Several people waiting to play and they allowed people to play two hands. One lady who was playing 2 hands, left the table for like 20 minutes and they held both seats for her. The lines foe the food were long so don't wait until your hungry. I went to my room at 3:30 am, found the cleaning staff in the room with her whole cleaning cart. Had to haul all of my stuff back down to the check in to get my room reassigned. Customer service was very poor. No apologies, nothing. The room was great but I was so mad and tired, I couldn't enjoy it. We typically go to another casino and will definitely stick to what we know next time.

Had a great experience with a recent stay. Nice room in the Sky Tower. Casino host was great help in getting some comps. Dining at the 1832 Steakhouse was very relaxing with good service and food prepared to our wishes. Played blackjack and won, but still do not like the "ante". Good variety of slots - and did not experience much difficulty with card readers for once - but one machine did eat my players card. Still get lost in the machines in the Sky Tower. Overall satisfying experience.

Stopped by here cause we were up here visiting family. This casino has always done us right. Me and my wife started with $20 each we left with about $100 between both of us. We played for about 4 hours too. Didn't get to try any of the restaurants cause we ate with family before we got there. Very cool place to spend a couple hours at. They have a bowling alley, game room and movies. Drinks are pretty good as well.
They do rent wheelchairs and scooters there at Choctaw. You will have to call in advance in reserve one. My mother in law used a scooter and loved it. They were very nice.
The age limit to go into the casino to gamble is 18 and up. But to gamble and drink alcoholic beverages is 21. Children, kids, or child that are not of age to gamble or drink alcoholic beverages can go to the "District". Which has games of all kinds and a movie theater also bowling. If you want to know anything else just ask me about it. Thank You and God Bless and have a great day or night.
Open 24 hours. It is constantly open, they wipe down and clean machines every little while and they service them from about 2-6 Am but there are plenty of slots to choose from. So they do not shut down.
There is no age limit.. However those that choose to gamble must be 18 and kids (under18) must remain on the carpet path... You can't be gambling and have your kids or anyone underage sitting there waiting besides you.. Hope that helps..
Yes. There are buses that provide rides from various areas in the state. Greyhound, casinorides to name a few companies.

No and the drinks are pricey,my advice is to visit one, or all of them, several of dining digs through out your night or bring some hooch and leave it in your room.
Do they have handicapped rooms here? What are the amenities?

I believe if you stay in towers your ok. The other two buildings do not have automatic doors and they are heavy and no one is there to help. But the handicapp bathroom in the lodge was very easy. The ground outside has holes so don't step in one. Not a good scene when by yourself.
on floor of Casino 18 21 to get alcohol beverages, kids are allowed at eating places , movie theater, bowling , arcade no age limit there just need a 16 or above to watch over your kids ,,, hope this is helpful, and good LUCK 👍👍👍
You can get to any casino from any of there hotels. And yes you can walk or be pushed in a stroller in any casino and bring your pet they really don't care as long as your spending money
Not much of a gambler. I visited to go to a concert & went to "Gilley's to listen to a live band!. Had a nice time! Would like to visit in future for more concerts
I'm currently employed at the casino(not the gaming department and can confirm there is a 8 week training for casino games and while im not a 100% it's located on property it's most definitely adjacent and in the vicinity of Durant, but it's mostly definitely available. Hope that helps.
To be honest.... I've been to 3 in the southern OK area (highway casino or something like that [once]. It's the one coming from Tx going straight into OK you pass right before you get to winstar, Winstar [6 times] & Riverwind [once]) other casino within an hour or less of the vicinity and I personally love Choctaw (Durant) [6 times] the best. I win bigger and better there.
Regular 4 wheel large seat with steer handles and right left blinkers and head light. scooter. Like what the elderly or someone who can't walk far would use.
Not sure. But they do have other rewards, kike discount on food, free play, with earn points, etc. Must have a players card, that is free. Use it every time you play to earn points. Hope you have a great time as we did, good luck, hit it big!!!
Yes they do. Its a 15% discount and you can also get choctaw reward points with your membership card that they give you and get discounts with the points earn
Yes they are open 24/7 ..and participating in COV19 policies. My daughter and her husband work at the casino. They said, they are very busy in all areas...if and when you go and want to eat at the restaurant, I suggest you make reservations. And with a definite, they are open 24/7
I am a disabled Vietnam veteran & unable to walk long distances.

Prices vary per day for the buffet as do hours, children eat for half-price on respective days, not sure if crab-legs are always available. The prices for Butterfields Buffet are posted at https://www.choctawcasinos.com/durant/eat-drink/butterfields-buffet/
Yes, 50 cents was ante for 3 card poker, I think that is across all table games except craps was $1 I think. Someone said if you are betting higher amounts ante goes up.
Comps are automatically loaded on your card. No coupons needed.
Hotel rates very depending on the day of the week. $69.- $150.
If you're using your comp it's free with a $200 deposit to hold a room which will be reimbursed at the end of your stay. I think that's a great plan LOL you know you're going to go home with some money that way.
I m pretty sure they are the same place, ive found that the rooms are ok, beds and pillows are more firm than i like but slept ok, very clean and only a short walk from the slots if thats your thing, i think the room was a little overpriced
No. They serve some good dinner entrees for like $25 shrimp steak it's a good meal though they have an open bar lounge that sets up above the floor they make a good drink
Carbonated beverages are free and are Coke products
They have alcoholic mixed drinks I will say, for a four star hotel, they do not serve four star alcohols like you would get in other four star hotels. There also needs to be more vinues that serve frozen and tropical drinks. But the basic mixed drinks are served
Only one vinue serves frozen drinks, it is a sports bar within the casino.
As an employee: it's based off play. Generally you will not receive birthday freeplay unless you are already receiving a fairly significant amount of free play weekly. If you do recieve it, it will be added on the first day of your birthday month and will be redeemable until the end of the month.
Choctaw is way over priced in restaurants, gift shops, accommodations, etc., and the gambling has changed. I don't shoot craps to have them flip a card instead of let me throw dice. Several table games are done that way. If I'm "donating" to a casino I want to play the game, not put money down and watch them play. Also...you can't get money from your credit card...they charged $16 FOR $200 off my card!...unless you give them an email address. Then you get these stupid requests non stop on your email with no way to opt out. Last time!
