Was there Wednesday evening. . .gave our order to waitress. . .we left after one hour of waiting with no food. . Never again.

First time to the restaurant and won't be back.We waited nearly 20 minutes before our order was taken. I have to say she brought our drink rather quickly. Waited another hour and still didn't have our food. After I called a different waitress because I didn't see ours, to ask how much long for our food ,we were told about 15 more minutes. That there had been 2 large parties that ordered right be us that was the delay. Both of those tables were served ,ate and one table had even lfinished and left.

I cannot rate the bar, however it was full and they seemed pleased. We went in to try the food. The gentleman at the door was very pleasant and helped us find a seat. I could see 13 TV sets on, so if interested in a nice place to watch a game, every seat has a view! We got the appitzer sampler, a shrimp basket and a chicken basket. The fries were the best part.. possibly home made. My chicken was chewy and my husband said the shrimp was from a box. The Mac and cheese is white cheese, and it was cold. The slaw was good, crunchy, if you are a slaw person, I actually recommend. All in all,. Typical bar food, nothing special, except the fries! They were awesome. Restroom was clean, no seat covers, and the stall doors have not been wiped down in quite some time. But, it had all other essentials, and no trash lying around, your typical bar restroom ha ha. I give 3 stars cause only fries and slaw were worth eating and although my husband was offered a fresh Pepsi, I was never offered a second beer.

Aloof staff and sub par food, sad given the location. At first I was judgemental regarding their strict covid policies then I took a look around and wondered to myself: is this a bar or did I stumble on a resident event at the Concordia …Hey Chip! We apologize your food wasn’t up to par today but as far as our current policies go.. we are simply enforcing the mandate put in place for all restaurants in PA right now! As I’m sure you are aware, it’s been a tough year for restaurants (ex. King’s closed last week) So we are choosing to enforce these rules to try and keep our patrons/staff safe while also avoiding fines and forced closures. Hope you can understand that! Take care!
