A lovely store. The service was really good, and it was refreshing trying a guitar in an intimate quiet room and not in a room full of people and noise. The employee (Rick) answered every question I had. The guitar was well maintained. Oct 2022

Went to the shop and it was closed. They should post somewhere that they aren’t open for the public.

I wasn’t really in the market for another guitar but I always look at Gibsons online. I stumbled onto the Music Zoo and was blown away by the shear number of Les Pauls they had in stock. I saw a R8 I could not resist. Got a great deal from the Zoo; particularly from Rich Castillo who I worked with and was a pleasure. If I ever buy another LP I’ll look no further than the Music Zoo and Rich. As for the guitar itself; I can only say Gibson has its act together now like never before. And this particular one-speced out by MZ-is just very special. From finishing to the sound it is everything I could want.

Such a great company. Talk to a specialist after finding a guitar or amp and they will play it and give you a detailed conversation about it. I have bought a lot of awesome guitars and gear from Rose. She is amazing at being able to talk to you at your level of understanding. I highly recommend getting as nice a guitar as you can justify and afford as a hand made Custom Shop guitar will last a lifetime.

Thanks for asking! We are an authorized Bare Knuckle Dealer. We do currently stock the Stormy Monday sets, however availability fluctuates over time. There are a lot of options for this set too beyond covers, like bobbin color, conductor type, leg length and aging. We can order just the right set for you if it's not currently in stock.
Go to their website, get the number and call them
I don't, but Music Zoo does consign guitars and can probably help you
The Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) makes stops close by. From Penn Station you can take the LIRR to either Roslyn or Port Washington. However you will most likely need to take a short cab ride from either. On a nice day, the Roslyn LIRR station is not a bad walk but may take 20-30 minutes. There are some buses available in and around Roslyn, NY as well.
