Dr. Vondra is great. She gives you all the time you need and discusses each item in detail. Her staff is just as great. If I send a question on my chart I always hear back within a day and usually a few hours. They are the best

Dr. Vondra is a caring and compassionate doctor. Something that's hard to to find these days. She addressed all my issues and offered care and support.

She did not seem very confident or knowledgeable about my issues (inquiring about possible pcos), but did blood work at my request. Left me an email that everything was fine and within range, but then later another email saying I was premenopausal (I'm in my early 30s!). No additional information or anything, just that I was premenopausal. I had to call the office myself, and ask someone to explain to me how she came to that conclusion. The first doctor told me it was my estrogen and progesterone levels, and I told her they didn't test that. She told me they must have and just didn't tell me or give me the results in my online chart. 🤔🤔🤨 I knew that couldn't be right, and I got a call from a different doctor an hour later, and she tried to be helpful. (Still not a word from Vondra!) She informed me it was due to my fsh levels. I was curious why Vondra would think that, given it was within range, and actually on the low end, not high. (Premenopausal levels would have fsh levels on the higher end, in the 20s or more, and mine was only 6!) I couldn't get an answer from whomever called me, just that I needed to see a gynecologist and they wanted to refer me to another doctor there. I asked what sort of level they would want my fsh to be in order for me not to be premenopausal and she didn't know that either. I declined their referral to the gynecologist and decided to see a specialist. (It's sort of a big deal to get this diagnosis!) I went to a fertility clinic with great reviews and this new doctor was great. She asked me to repeat myself when I told her my fsh levels and the diagnosis, and had to look at my blood work herself. She was totally baffled as to why anyone gave me a perimenopausal diagnosis, given my numbers. She did a blood draw to check a couple other hormones and sure enough, my amh came back pretty high (possible indication of pcos, which is what I initially went to Vondra for!). However, one thing is for sure, and that is I am not premenopausal and my egg reserve is VERY good. 🙄 I really should have saved my copay.
