Pros- This place is clean on nice grounds. Caring staff. Cons-Lack of staff, serve dinner at 4:30pm with no other snacks at night except sugary cereal/cookies. Most of the amenities are not in operation. Pool is closed with many others. Some groups are hit or miss. Listed under luxury treatment center, far from that unless the meals get better and the facilities that cater to wellness stay open.

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE: Beautiful campus but facility offers no real help to patients, extremely inexperienced staff that turns over frequently, very high readmittance rate - get your care somewhere that has real experience and proven results

Do not bring your loved ones here. No communication whatsoever. Multiple calls go unanswered. Also bait and switch with out of pocket costs. Under staffed. Do your research.

As someone who’s been fighting this disease for years, been in multiple facilities and worked in the treatment field, I can confidently say this is the most well rounded facility I have ever been to. The ability to combine physical, mental and spiritual health is unmatched, with an almost overly comfortable environment to be in. From the kitchen staff to the therapists to the nurses everyone is on the same page, which is to individually and communally offer kindness and meet clients where they’re at. I was able to be open and honest about things that “kept me sick” for many years. Thank you, if you are struggling, don’t be afraid to pick up and call Wellbridge.

Wellbridge is one of the first residential addiction treatment centers to partner with a major health system, Northwell Health, to provide access to comprehensive health and wellness services. This association provides access to specialized medical services if needed, an opportunity to educate and train future addiction practitioners in coordination with Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, and collaboration on research with the Feinstein Institute of Medical Research.
We believe that addiction is a chronic, treatable illness rather than a stigmatized personal condition. Our approach examines the causes of addiction and the effects of addiction on the brain. It focuses on the development and application of treatments that target the physiology as well as the psychology of addiction—and involves strategies to heal the brain and change behavior. At Wellbridge we give you the time and the tools to repair, rehabilitate and restore your wellbeing. Medical interventions (detox) help restore healthy functioning and deter relapse during the healing process. Treatment programs like CBD, DBT, MET, in addiction to SMART and 12-Step change the behaviors that have caused damage to your brain, and the unhealthy ones that have resulted from it. Support and counseling aids physical healing including healthy sleep hygiene, good nutrition, and physical activity. Fitness and wellness training helps your brain regain and retain flexibility and resilience.
Family program is more than support – it’s an evidence-based treatment program directed by a licensed marriage and family therapist. We help you as a family work together and change some of the things about the way you communicate with each other, to make your interactions more effective, more helpful and less frustrating. Weekly sessions, 90 minutes each are conducted in-person or secure teleconference.
What Patients Can Expect Thorough screening – All prospective patients will complete a thorough phone screening which includes their medical history, recent travel history, recent proximity to someone who had COVID-19 symptoms as well as other essential information required for admission. Prior to their admission and arrival, patients will receive a COVID-19 test in their home, conducted by a licensed phlebotomist from Northwell Labs. Results will be provided within 24 hours of the test. Ongoing monitoring – If any issues arise during we will promptly facilitate testing, quarantine, and/or isolation measures. Ancillary care – We will coordinate appropriate medical and ICU care through our partner, Northwell Health. Staff and Visitors All staff and visitors are required to complete a self-assessment form upon arrival to the campus. Any and all positive screenings will NOT be allowed to enter the campus.
