While visiting my family in Iowa for Christmas, I picked up Gus from Coldwater Kennel.  Pam had him already to go, complete with blanket that he still cherishes and dog food.  Gus is the first dog of my own and he has been a perfect addition to my home.   We live in Oregon and so he has flown many times with me under the seat.   He is now 15 pounds and keeps me smiling and active.  He is a Shorkie and I absolutely love the breed.  He naps and plays contently during the day. He often plays/wrestles and runs with labs, doodles, boxers, etc at the dog park. He doesn’t seem to know how small he is.  He is well-socialized and everyone wants a Gus.  The neighborhood children come running to see Gussie and he gently jumps into your lap—and even stranger’s laps, including seniors. He went to obedience class too and does quite well.  The vet says he is in tip top shape—one of the most muscular little dogs. He is very attached to me but he handles all-day daycare like a champ when necessary.  Thank you Coldwater for my sweet companion.

This is our second puppy from Coldwater. Our yorkie is 1.5 years old and he is perfect. We just purchased a morkie today and he is the cutest, sweetest dog. Highly recommend !!!!

We brought our little Morkie, Kate, home yesterday afternoon from Coldwater Kennels and have had nothing but fun with her since!! She made herself right at home and loved all the toys our granddaughter had waiting for her. Kate was calm riding in our van, and warmed up to her surroundings immediately when we arrived at our home. She follows us when we encourage her and sits quietly on our laps when invited. We can tell she has had plenty of human interaction and is ready to accept human friends without any hesitation. She slept through the night in our bedroom and settled in quickly. She is definitely part of our family!! Thank you Coldwater Kennels, we found the perfect dog for us!!

We got our little Bentley, a Shih-tzu here a little over 1 year ago at Larry Albrecht, Coldwater Kennel, a clean and friendly business, paperwork all in order, staff very well-informed and friendly. I was impressed by how outgoing, trusting, well behaved, and very social my little guy was/is. They did a great job preparing him for his forever home, easiest guy ever to potty train, outside, in April, in Minnesota. Beautiful coat my boy has, he is a little spit fire and I love him so much. Larry was spot on with the approximate weight of the adult dog, he is very knowledgeable if any questions should arise, I also found Larry to be a man of his word, he stands behind the puppies. Thank you, Larry for my Bentley!
