I can’t ask anyone questions about my mother care because they are very dismissive and just brush me off every-time I ask something!! Some of the nurses are nice. The Chineses nurses don’t like wearing gloves when handling patients iv, medications, especially dealing with chemotherapy. On top one of them drop the medication on the counter and put it back in my mom cup. I tried to explain what she did she dismissed me and stated they clean the counter. I seen the RN nurse come in with gloves on and carrying a bag of blood while touching my mom iv bag with chemotherapy. This is very dangerous and can make patients really sick. On top she also came in with no gloves fixing my iv fluid bag. I asked “ Why are you not wearing gloves?” She stated it’s ok she didn’t touch the port!! All I can do is pray ...... I really hope my mom who has a low immune system will be ok.

This review is mainly for the staff in the lobby screening people and the staff in the front area. One thing that really needs to be taken under consideration are the people visiting the center. Believe me the patients don't want to be there as much as the people working there don't. They are rude, disorganized and the lack of COMMUNICATION is by far the worst. I completely understand that with the whole pandemic occurring and COVID still being a major concern, that they are trying to take all the necessary precautions BUT they really need to have better communication with staff from other departments(including doctors and nurses). The way they follow "protocol" does not make sense to me especially when a patient comes in a wheelchair and they OBVIOUSLY need assistance from a family member they have arrived with or even patients in a walker that can hardly maintain balance on their own or patients that don't have the strength to hold open a door. I don't understand why it's so hard to pick up the phone and just confirm if they are allowed to go up with someone, and even if someone does confirm over the phone they need a freaking EMAIL CONFIRMATION!! If anyone would know the protocols of the treatment center are the doctors and nurses. They won't tell the patient that the person they are coming with is authorized and on a list if they knew that wasn't "protocol." There will even be staff available to help but they don't want to help instead they will just pass you on to someone else who doesn't want to help either, so guess what, not only are you being passed down but you are late to your appointment and are stuck in the building longer then needed. Something as simple as just checking a name in a DAMN LIST is way to much work for some of this staff. GOD FORBID THEY DO THEIR JOB!!! This is a treatment center and although we all have something going on right now the staff needs to be a little more ethical on how they treat patients coming into this building... CANCER PATIENTS at that! Just word of advice if your appointment is at a certain time and you were giving the "OK" to come in with a family member come in 30 mins before your appointment because you will be waiting(if not longer for them to even think to check a list of people authorized to go up) and you will be late to your appointment and please expect to be there longer then desired.
