Great venue 👌 We had a great time at the Segunda Quimbamba event. Segunda Quimbamba will start their fall dance and drumming classes tomorrow at Nimbus Arts Center.

I bought a package of classes for my daughters and after using 2 classes, spending over $100 on new dance outfits I was told that they could not honor the classes I was sold when we showed up the following day for another class. They almost refused to let my daughter take the class. She was in tears all dressed up in her new ballet outfit watching all the other kids be taken in for the class. I had to beg the director to allow her to take the class and offed to pay whatever just not to see my daughter be turned away so shamefully. I ended paying extra for the class and I was given a partial refund for the package I bought. I must say I am so disappointed and disgusted by the way they made my daughter and I feel. The school should have honored the package they sold me and not have treated us the way they did. Such a shame.

One star only because I have to leave one star. The school communication and overall system (front desk, school director) is a very miserable and upsetting experience and no parents deserve to suffer such headaches. Long story short, school never sent us any notification on requresting for COVID PCR ahead of the class, however my 4yr old got rejected on the spot for her class and we were only then told that we have to submit a PCR (they also ask you to do monthly PCR) ahead of the class. I tried to resolve the issue with the school, however after multiple emails (which they did not respond) and calls (which I was told I cannot speak to the school director) the school says my account is some reason set to unsubscribe to email, they don't know why, but it's my fault. They cannot offer refund for the class they refused to provide, and the zoom virtual makeup class is right after my child's regular class. It's ridiculous, are we supposed to finish the class then run back home to turn zoom on and repeat the same class again? The staff even told me it's my fault to not call the school about not receiving the notifications..errrr... how do I supposed to know that school sent out emails if I never received them??? Overall experience is very unfriendly, unpleasant, disorganized. No need for such additional headaches
