A great place for family to have some fun also have a picnics

Great little park, but just some older playground equipment and open area. Not much else. Went there for Nat'l night out so was better because of event. Normally nothing going on here otherwise. Pine Grove Park just South of Staples is much better with better and more equipment, better trees and scenery, and more area for grilling and picnicking. Ballfields as well.

The city has taken away the purpose of the park by planting trees in the empty space where kids used to play baseball, kickball, etc. Also removed the tennis court therefor eliminating more recreation for tax paying citizens.
