This is a great little bookstore located right on Columbia University Irving Medical Center’s campus! They have cute CUIMC merch/study supplies and a wide selection of medical reference books available. There’s also a section of books you can browse for leisure-reading. The staff members are really nice & the cafe is super quick + convenient (it’s located right inside)!

The sales staff just stare at you when you walk in and don't even greet you. The plus is if you ask for help they will try to help you, but basic aura is the typical unconcerned millennial attitude. I guess everyone by passes the store part and heads over to the Starbucks Cafe section that's attached to the store . . . Furthermore, I was hoping to find a better selection at a nearby location, which when you look up 3954 west 168th St, it doesn't say It's permanently closed. I asked the young lady that was the cashier if the place on Bway and 168 would have more of a selection . . . She started to tell me that it was the place that they had just moved from, but for some reason didn't finish her statement when I asked her again she said yes they would have a wider selection and wouldn't look in my face as she said it. What kinda of unprofessional madness is that? I have not been in the area for a long time and realized when I reached Bway and between 165 and 164th that the book store that still shows as if it's open at 3954 was in fact permanently closed because the store is now at 711 west 168th on Haven Ave . . . Annoying!!!
