We had such a great time at the shell factory nature center. Our 3 year old loved seeing all the animals and getting to feed the goats and alpaca. They were all so gently to take the food from her. The whole staff was super polite to us and would go out of their way to make it a special experience. There was a lot more animal exhibits than I expected so make sure you follow every path because we almost missed the reptile section. We will definitely be back, it was nice to see so many different animals that you don’t normally see. It was also shaded which made it nice with the Florida heat.

The nature park is great. Missed the bats where did they go? but got to see lots of alligators. Kids had a great time. Such cute gifts in the gift store and nice places to get refreshments

Beautiful variety and so much to see and do here. This is my first time back in years. I used to come all the time as a kid. The reason for 3 stars instead of 5 is because the old woman who runs the register is extremely slow and overcharged multiple customers in front of me and then overcharged me... and it wasn't small over charges... the woman in front of me was over charged over $25 and I was over charged $18. I didn't have time to wait on the reversal, so I'm just out the money for 3 shells that were supposed to be less than $1 and a 5.99 magnet.

The Nature Walk needs some serious TLC. I love that they take in surrendered animals but many of the animals are in small dirty cages. I did notice their food looked fresh and plentiful, which is a great positive but please please please get more regular cleanings and larger tanks/enclosures for multiple animals. There was a snapping turtle that could barely turn around in its tank and several cat species with mold surrounding their tarp and tin roofs. Each large animal had a fan in their enclosure during the 100 degree heat but only noticed the raccoons had a water bowl (which they tipped over). The macaws rock enclosure was covered in algae and mold. The camel needs more space as well as the zebra. Would I recommend supporting this place? Yes, to help save more surrendered animals and the workers seemed to really love caring for them. Would I recommend the owners invest more in providing comfort and healthier environments for the animals? Yes.

No fee to get in for shopping. It's a lot of shopping under one roof.
The gift shop and restaurant are dog friendly but the nature preserve is not, for obvious reasons....
Go to groupon you will get a good discount for four to Nature Park plus golf $27 For two its $15 for the same Nature Park and golf 1/2 off regular price!
Adults are $5 kids 4 thru 12 $4. So under 4 free.
Nor do I speak Spanish using the google translator. sorry if this off good luck is safe Yes, the hours are open to the public, and there are different events or offers now that it is summer. A little to name a few things, there is a small zoo / zoo, water boats, mini golf boats, arcade games in lateral waters, sling shot, rock walls and there the newest attraction is the zip line that flies over A pond. Many places to sit in the shade in an outdoor / indoor bar / restaurant. Many different stores store a home-made fire department in the Chritmas metro area throughout the year and much more, check with the website to have fun.
Pretty cheap they have pearls and everything there. U can actually open up a live oyster and get a pearl and make a chain or jewelry out of it or just keep it as it is very cool and inexpensive
Saturday for sure. 6-ish thru noon
Oh I'm sorry I don't know.. I've only been to the zoo part and in the store. But the website should have the answer your looking for or a phone number to call.. sorry again. Best of luck..
They have electric chairs. The person or persons have to have an ID to use them.
They will be there from 1 pm, until 4 pm. Bring your chairs.

There is no cost to get into the shell factory, as it is a retailer spot with shops in it. The nature park runs 13$ per adult, 8$ per kid 12 and under, kids 3 and under free. If you are interested in the mini golf they have a 25$ package per person that includes that, a water activity, and the nature park. Or 35$ will get you all that and ziplining.

About 15 dollars for the cheapest one , I believe

Hello, Our property is dog friendly, however they can not go into Capt'n Fishbones Restaurant or Subway. The Nature Park does not allow dogs inside as well. We are on 18 acres and there is plenty of places they are welcome including inside the Retail Store, Swamp Bar, Fun Park, Dog Bones Cafe' and of course our Doggy Park with fenced in playground!
