I brought my daughter down, and she failed. I immediately thought it must’ve been something she had done. But as I read reviews, I’ve noticed a common denominator. An elderly, heavyset, nasty, unprofessional, woman seems to be a chronic issue at this location. Every one star review I’ve read is correlated to her. And my daughters experience was similar, rude, badgering, unprofessional, and overall nasty. I don’t know if she has some idiosyncrasies where she enjoys failing kids? But after reading these reviews, I don’t think it was my daughter, I actually think it was this crazy Proctor . Warning: if you go to Brentwood, and you get a heavyset white lady with white hair, get in your car and drive home. Come back another day because you will fail. my daughter has put in over 50 hours with me in the car. She’s taken professional driving lessons from Bell auto school and was told she has tremendous control of the car. The fail report, had 65 points, and it looked like a golden retriever had driven the car. And I will reiterate, my first thought was, she just failed it. UPDATE: my daughter passed with flying colors at another location. She received 10 points, Instead of the 65 she received at Brentwood. The other facility had a more pleasant vibe and professional atmosphere. In Brentwood, all I saw were cars coming back in 2 to 3 minutes because the applicants “pointed out.” I did not see anyone coming back earlier than five minutes at the other location. When my daughter greeted the proctor, she was asked “have you done this before?” She replied “yes “ when the proctor asked where she took her first test, she said “Brentwood“ the proctor rolled his eyes and said “oh my.” they need to either shut this place down, or remove everyone that works there. There is no room for poetic license in a road test. My daughter passed with flying colors and handles the car like she did the first time she took it in Brentwood. 65 points in Brentwood, 10 points in Wantagh. Moral to the story, stay away from Brentwood.

346, old white haired lady, terrible, when you think “miserable job at the dmv”, you think of her. 0 out of 10. 341, young dude, pointed out my mistakes and allowed me to correct for them, was supportive and let me keep my cool. also hit on my mom at the end. 10 out of 10. new drivers, do not take it personally if you do flunk a test, because the biggest factor of passing and failure (aside from, you know, not knowing how to drive) is the proctor you get. keep at it! some government workers are soulless.

I would willing to accept any suggestions or criticism against my driving skills but not from examiner who can’t tell the difference between right and left….. The experience was absolutely disappointing,I was being my best to be kind to the lady,but never thought how rude this person could be. At very least,please have some limit requirements to the examiner, for instance know which hand is left,or know how to talk like normal person.
