This is a fantastic town pool. It is large, with sections for laps, adult swim, a general area, plus a play section with splashes and slides for tots PLUS a diving board, a flue-like slide and a curly slide. There is also a zero-entry section so you can walk in gradually AND an entirely separate pool for babies and toddlers only. Showers and changing rooms are available along with restrooms and an "OK" snack bar which is fine for drinks, ice cream, snacks. There are picnic tables too and park-like areas for kids. They have professional lifeguards who rotate frequently in the different areas and keep things orderly, prevent roughhousing and make sure the rules are observed. The town makes it VERY clear that this pool is membership only for Wayne residents or their paid guests. Anyone who posts a low review because they thought they could just show up for the day didn't check the online materials. The rates for the town pool are very modest, especially in comparison to other town pools. 5 stars for the town pool!!

Summer is not the same without going to "The pool"! Lots of friends, summer pool friends and people I know from town are there. There are sometimes rowdy tweens horsing around in the water too close to other bathers but the lifeguards do their best to keep it under control. Parents really need to keep close tabs on their children no matter the age. Overall I love going whenever I can .

You have to live in Wayne
Yes. Sign up in person at the Wayne Parks & Rec office. Otherwise a Wayne resident with guess pass can let up to 2 guests per weekend, 4 in the weekdays. Guests don't have to be Wayne resident.
No, only Wayne residents with a membership can go. But, Totowa residents can go as a guest if they're with a Wayne resident and pay the daily fees.
Only Wayne residents can get a subscriptions, but you can go as a guest.
Then its not a public pool its a private pool for residents only
Wayne residents pay for membership. Or you can go as a guest of a resident and pay.
Yes
I paid $330 for the season. No daily or other passes unless you are a guest of a member.
Can anyone goto the pool?
No and there are a lot of parasols to provide shade and beach chairs and flip benches to rest in. 3 pool areas for different age groups.
