I am so angry. I went in explaining that I had already been to the ER earlier in the week and been to a cardiologist. My heart is fine. I was concerned about having a blood clot that they weren’t catching. I was asked over and over again to take an EKG and I said NO because I had already had FOUR that were normal that week. After they agreed to do a blood test for clots I went through the motions. Upon leaving and looking at my paper work they did NOT test for clots, they did the one for the HEART which I also had previously in the week. So no I’m gonna pay another 2K PLUS for something I didn’t even WANT. I’ve never been so frustrated.

All the nurses do is watch videos on their phone or chat about what’s going on, they really don’t care about the patients or are too overworked. The doctors take their sweet time and a visit that should take 3 hours took 8 hours god forbid anyone would have to bring their loved one here for an emergency

From the time I walked into this Emergency Room, I was aware of how terrible the service was. From security yelling at sick patients, about how they need their shift. To the occupation of the NYPD allover the site. And the blatant dismissiveness of administrative staff. My worry for the vulnerable populations that this ER serves have been reaffirmed by this visit. Do better Mount Sinai.

Without a doubt the worst ER experience I have ever had. The nurses are overworked but their tactic is to constantly tell patients that there are other people worse. It’s childish to be so vocal about other patients, especially when we are all in pain.
