My first time back to the library since the pandemic and I was interested in catching up on some reading so I stopped by this local library. Once I walked in I noticed that the library was completely empty. No computers were accessible as they all had out of order signs on the screens. The security guard asked me once I walked in “How can I help you?” I answered this is a library right? I’m here for books.” Then the librarian behind the counter said I can go to have a look. Every 5 minutes the security guard got up to see where I was and then the librarian came to check on me too. As I was the only person in the library I felt really uncomfortable and my stay was only 5-10 minutes. I probably will go to another location next time.
