I currently live in Glenwood Gardens apartments and please take it from me if you’re considering renting here, DON’T. The “fully renovated” apartments are anything but fully renovated with the ancient doors and heaters still intact. They tear down a wall and call it a renovation. The moment you scratch the surface you can tell this is not real renovation. I’ve had to install a doorbell camera because I was having $600 plus dollars of packages stolen from right in front of my door. Meanwhile management does nothing, like add cameras to building lobbies or hire real security guards. They recently got approved by NYS for some sort of improvement increase and tackled on 6 months of an increase without informing me in writing of the amount of the increase or even when it would take effect. Not even the recent lease I signed or the recent rent invoices had the increase listed on them, but they did not hesitate to backdate an increase. It’s all around bad business, irresponsible behavior and typical of landlords/owners. Save yourself the headache and stear clear from this place. I will always regret not choosing the much better and secured building across the street at 1 Glenwood avenue when I was initially looking for apartments in Yonkers.

After a year being here they raised the rent a lot i really want to know who is gunna pay over 1700 for a unit that has not been renovated at all. not me. I understand if it was renovated but it’s not at all. Neighbors are rudely annoying and loud. You can hear everything from next door. The conversations the loud stomping foot steps (him stomping like he weighs 600lbs makes my dresser shake) the tv and inappropriate things. I can even hear the tv from the downstairs unit. Surprisingly up stairs unit I have no complaints and they have kids. Next door is always yelling and stomping really loud all night and disturbingly playing an instrument he doesn’t know how to play in such weird times of the day. I’ve been having issues with the bathroom here since I moved in and nobody followed up after taking pictures. Parking is a long waiting list and expensive. I broke the lease and left. Finically it’s not worth the stress especially if you get a old outdated unit like I did where nobody comes to fix anything. Don’t rent apartment 2B in building 107. You will be annoyed by the neighbors and hear everything! He yells at his dad and controls him. Everyday. And plays an instrument he doesn’t know and random times.

I like the apt just fine any place can be better if people are being sent to court maybe they should pay there rent on time then they wouldn’t be going to court and of course the owner wants your money it’s a business he didn’t rent to anyone not to get paid just saying.
