I was doing simple work on my car in the parking lot (on a Thursday afternoon) -I chose this location simply because I needed a flat surface and live nearby. There’s no sign that says no parking/private property. An employee came from across the street and told me I need to leave because this is a church. I was parked in the very back, not a single person or car was in the parking lot, and no service was being held so I did not see the issue but she was adamant I needed to leave. Definitely made me wonder if it has to do with the pride flag on my car. I asked for a number to call or the name of the owner of the building to discuss the matter and she walked away from me. Just feel that it being a church maybe should be more welcoming to a member of the community that simply needed a flat surface and wasn’t disturbing anyone. I cleaned up and left, but it left a bad taste in my mouth especially because I have seen people using the parking lot/yard area before.

Celebrated the Lunar New Year with the community and they were marvelously hospitable and welcoming. The pastor is lovely and a peace filled man. The Parish Hall was filled with community members celebrating a great event and hopefully a lucky year. I'd go back anytime I was in the neighborhood for their regular Services as well.
