I’ve been using Dr. Paul for years but lately he has become unresponsive and has totally ignored my calls and emails forcing me to look for another doctor. He was never great at helping patients either with insurance claims or prescription authorization but now he’s reached new lows with even his contact with patients is blatantly lacking. He responds to detailed email inquiries with one line answers and this is AFTER 15 YEARS of being his patient. I am very unsatisfied and suggest you look for a more competent and caring provider. And someone that will help you get the care you need and work with your insurance and pharmacy to get you the extraordinarily expensive medication that he prescribes at a decent rate. Good luck.

Dr Paul is the most knowledgeable, professional, and caring doctor ive ever worked with. Dr Paul has truly saved my life and provided me with the best care imaginable. He is patient, understanding, and incredibly knowledgeable. I’ve had a few instances where I needed a last minute session and have even called him after work hours with questions and he has made himself available to me EVERY time. He truly goes above and beyond to not only adhere to my medical needs, but has been there for me when I needed him most. I am so lucky to be his patient and I would recommend him to ANYONE. Finding someone as ethical as Dr Paul is nearly impossible and I couldnt Be more grateful.

Dr. Paul after my first session I can already write a review . I was amazed that as a professional patient for well over 25 years to meet a doctor willing to first of all not change my current cocktail out of arrogance, ignorance or poor principles . Eager to even give me the trust up front & adjust my medication according to the issues I felt occuring now was a gift . I take over 5 controlled medications .I have what you call complicated psychopharmacology....this means that the adjustments I need and the dysfunction of certain chemicals in my brain need very very careful and unusual methodical ways to medicate .in short...it's nearly impossible to find a doctor who will take the risks, give you the trust and I'll say this bluntly: bravely faced the strict NY rules that make it so hard on people like me The ones that actually do not abuse medication she gets . Addiction medicine is truly the key to managing multiple controlleds .and Dr .Paul ....he already changed my life .I see him tomorrow Only issue is cost. Prepare for out of pocket you'll have to budget in somehow. I barely can currently .but my sanity and my new doctor I wouldn't cut costs on . Recommend highly for multiple controls, complicated psychopharmacology, relatively intriguing approach and immediacy in help .

Dr. Paul is a Harvard Graduate Addiction specialist . He's exemplary in his psychiatric field of expertise. This unfortunately means ... That he's naturally not an insurance friendly doctor. MOST GREAT DOCTORS ARE NOT! The best advice I'll give you is this: he's been my ever constant in a chaotic life. His consults are 500. Well worth it. He's really ready to work! He offers short , hh, 55 min . 125, 250, 300. I believe. And you can I believe always submit to your insurers? He's a character. And brilliant. Highly recommend. I btw am on ssd wth Medicare. But require the care of a great specialist. He's just .. Great

No, Tim. He doesn't. It's a very particular type of unfair world we live in. I'm on Medicare. And I'm 40 I'm further in my illness that my father is helping but not wth my treatment. But I have complicated psychopharmacology tbh is my life worth being deterred fur the laymen? No so I have a lot of trubs. But 500 is the consult think be treated. He's not gonna help you wth claims lol. But.meds meds he's trusting, and takes chances. !
