Took my toddler here today and it was a very unpleasant experience. They don’t have a toddler friendly atmosphere and the staff are rude. The gentleman at the counter in the children’s section spoke dismissively when I inquired about a library card. Perhaps, it was because I disturbed his phone scrolling. Then, with toddler in hand, I went to ask for paper in the “Teen Tech Center” and there was an African American young lady sitting at a computer who spoke very rudely saying “ask in the front.” The general attitude was unwelcoming and I won’t be visiting again. Trash!

The employees of the library are very rude. Witnessed how they treated other customers, terrible attitude and "get out of my face approach", doesn't matter which questions were asked. "Go read the instructions, we are not secretaries, filing a complaint? I'd love that". The older lady is very negative and disrespectful, started yelling at me for whispering and wouldn't even let me pack my stuff.

These are the hours of the passport office in the Brooklyn public library. No appointment required. Tuesday 1pm to 6pm Thursday 2pm to 6pm Friday 10 am to 1 pm Saturday 10 to 1 pm Sunday 10am to 1pm
There is but only a small collection. When you enter on the first floor make a left to where the tables and chairs are and then another left. Its in a corner
