This place is a hidden gem! I stopped by on a total whim and it's so pretty! There is so much to see and explore from all the houses and buildings and cancel, even kayaks. And they hold weddings. We got our engagement pics there because I love it so much.

Nighttime event was good only issue was lack of lighting to get to parking lot. A bit of a walk.

Very historic. Attended a wedding. Parking was a little walk. Had shuttle cart before but had to walk back on dark. Bar only gave you drinks in rocks glasses, would not make in pint glass. Food was good. Service was good

Before the area where you more than likely had to turn around turn at the sign that says Historic Waterloo Village. You'll see like a mini gate entrance where there isn't anyone working in, just follow down the road not even a mile and to your left theres a very large area to park. There are a few park entrances at that point for you to explore. The walk depends on what you want to do, but either way they aren't long at all, I'd say half hour tops.

There's a flat parking area where a handicapped vehicle can park with no problem.
It's always been free when I have visited. Unless there is an event going on.
The parking lot is grass and mud. There is a paved path around most of the village.
