A hidden gem on the Ocean front! The food was really good and authentic. All the meat served is halal. We had the pide, Adana wrap and kunafah. I will be coming back to try their breakfast.

This place is very nice, great food, service is good but not one person takes responsibility for your table so you need to flag down anyone passing by they didn’t stop to make sure we have everything which we didn’t. But they kindly got what we needed with a small reminder. The fruit platter is not as large as it seems in the menu but it was delicious. The pancakes required a lot of syrup but they were delicious. Kids got lemonade, I tried it it was not great but the one kid with us liked it. Overall the Resturant was very clean and we enjoyed our breakfast.

This review is based on breakfast, which was very good. I had the standard 2-egg, bacon, potato and pancake breakfast (with no modifications). The bacon had a good lean/fat ratio, and was crispy without being burned. It was about as perfect as one could expect bacon to be prepared. The portion was reasonable (2 pieces), although I'm sure many folks would prefer a giant greasy pile. If so, waddle either north or south to any of several nearby waffle/pancake houses. The potatoes were nicely prepared with the skin intact and minimal grease. They were not seasoned in any way I could discern (e.g. no rosemary). They were perfect for sopping up the egg yolk. I did not eat the entire pancake, but it was very good, even with just butter. I also had a Latte, which was perfectly prepared. It arrived quickly, followed not too long after by the meal. The interior has a calm feeling, with modern Turkish (?) rock music in the background. You order and pay to your right upon entering. Google & Apple pay are accepted. You are then assigned a numbered table. This is a good system, especially during a pandemic. It reduces the load on wait staff, and allows you to leave whenever you are ready. The hot sauce shown in the photo on the eggs & potatoes is from a packet of cayenne pepper sauce brought on request.

We happened upon this place after the wait at another local brunch spot was too long- and I’m so glad! The Turkish coffee was amazing (and a cool experience). We had the menemen and Turkish sucuk and eggs, and it was definitely the best breakfast we’ve had in VA Beach so far. They do also have more American-type offerings if you’re looking for that. The entire staff was lovey, and the atmosphere was also great. Highly recommend!
