I don't recommend that anyone go here. We stood outside in the line for like 15 minutes, paid the cash cover, and then were informed that even though hats weren't allowed, we could go in this time if we put them in our pockets. There wasn't anyone inside, so I don't know what the line was all about. Then as soon as the bartender handed me my first drink, another bouncer grabbed my arm and showed me the door. I'm not sure what I could've done in the 30 seconds that I was waiting for the bartender to pour my bud light, but apparently it was egregious. Anyway, if you're looking for overpriced drinks , there are plenty of places in the neighborhood. Save yourself the hassle and go to one of the others.

The bar is one of those spots where you stand around and stare at people, which seems to be a Philly thing. Don't go here if you are trying to meet new people; the social circles are closed. The one positive is that some of the bartenders are great.

Best spot to hang out with! Get some food and the stuff is way to friendly!

Yes
While I wouldn't assume a customer's Gender Identity, all people are welcome at UBar.
Are you sure you have the correct place?
Generally you will be fine in shorts and a tank top.....
You may now sit inside at a table and order food and drink. However, neither Pennsylvania nor the City of Philadelphia allows customers to sit at the bar. No idea when this will be allowed again.
Twenty one and over only. Small corner bar, no dance area.
